2 Introduction Geography and Demography: Timor Leste is a newest country in the world Before, Timor Leste as colony from Portugal during 450 years ( ) and 24 years by Indonesia regime ( ) Furthermore Timor Leste got Independent as a new country in the world on 20 May 2002 after referendum on 30 August 1999 and 2 years handle by UNTAET

3 Timor-Leste occupying kilometers square including ATAURO and JACO islands on the eastern territory, half of island of Timor There is also a small enclave, Oecussi, in the western part of the island

12 Challenges The main term challenge for the medium term to achieve the NDP (National Development Plan) goal of providing basic services to all districts and thereby ensure realistic access to telecommunications for all citizens No ICT policy in place Lack of Human resources Lack of Infrastructures One operator Telecommunication in country currently
