3 Global ICT Capacity Building Symposium 2016 Objectives Empower human capacities. Highly specialized in ICT. Enhance and facilitate the activity of Argentine academic sector in developing standards within the Union and help strengthen the activities of the ITU. Develop partnerships between academic and research institutions with other stakeholders in the ICT sector. Train specialized professionals with profiles suitable for insertion into the National State structure.
4 Project s Milestones Global ICT Capacity Building Symposium Universities (with 35 Schools) registered professionals participating in ITU activities. 5 professionals have participated in World Radiocommunication Conference 2015 (WRC15). 33 professionals have participated in person at meetings of ITU Study Groups and Working Parties in Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany and New Zealand. Consolidation of a coordination structure at International Affairs Area of Ministry of Communication. La Plata University was selected as an ITU s Center of Excellence for America Region in Cibersecurity.

Kaleidoscope 2015 special mention to Instituto Universitario Aeronáutico, for their paper Vulnerability of Radar Protocol and Proposed Mitigation. Special mention to Facultad Regional Resistencia for the project Smart Doorbell: an ICT Solution to Enhance Inclusion of Disabled People. Professionals editors of new standards.
