12 SG5 Main Achievements New methodology to assess energy and GHG impact of ICTs on cities (Draft Recommendation ITU T T L.1440) provides an internationally recognized means of quantifying the extent to which h the application of ICTs can improve the environmental sustainability of city infrastructures and operations. ITU and ETSI agreed method to assess energy efficiency of mobile networks (ITU T L.1330) It is the first standard to define energy efficiency metrics and measurement methods for live RANs, providing a common reference to evaluate their performance.
