16 Example of implementation at a project level 1. Architect shares 3D model options with engineer 2. Engineer set algorithmic constraints (system types, energy goal, budget cost, etc) 3. Generative process create a shortlist of options and approaches. 4. Engineer refines constraints as necessary and generates new options 5. Engineer reviews and sorts feasible options (possibly hundreds) to create shortlist 6. Team review in a meeting. If constraints change, process can be rerun in meeting to see impact on solution. 7. Architect / owner absorb information to decide whether changes should be made to form. 8. Details are then refined and optimised by engineer.
