7 OUR FOUNDER Sheikh Nasser Almutawa Alotaibi is a prominent member of the Saudi business community. In 1980, Sheikh Nasser laid the foundation for the Samama Group. He has also assisted influentially in setting up a wide range of successful business enterprises in Saudi Arabia & the GCC region that includes, Arabian Shield Insurance, Al- Jazeera Publishing, Al Tayyar Travel Group, Yamama Cement Company, Almarai Group, Elaf Bank, Jubail Energy Service Company & Technology Investment Company. Today, Sheikh Nasser s business interests stretch as far as the USA, Europe and Asia. He has a long time passion for fine art and has an extensive collection of paintings by prominent artists. The Sheikh is a frequent and influential contributor to the Saudi business community with regular appearances on TV and perceptive articles in newspapers and magazines.
