14 Fields Data Fields Appear in Totals Folder Can be inserted into Totals or Details area of the Pivot table Dimension Fields Can be inserted to any of the other areas of the Pivot table Used to filter, sort and break out data

19 Analyze Microsoft Pivot tables have a limit of 8000 records Most often you will have more than 8000 items, customers etc Will receive error if more than 8000 records are displayed When you, for example, organize the items by item group, the system will see each item group as a record versus each item

23 Totals and Data Field Data needs to be limited by a time frame MOST data has to be AS OF a SPECIFIC DATE Otherwise, it will add the totals of, for example, inventory for more than one day together 2/1 = 2,000,000 2/2 = 3,000,000 Total = 5,000,000 This is an overstated monthly figure!
