7 Running (1) To use filters, follow a 2-step process: Run the filter using the Filter menu.. Configure the filter using the Configuration menu. Page: 7

8 Running (2) Use the Filter menu, and select the appropriate filter. Use the Run Filter button from the configuration dialog. 9 Import ASAM-MCD-2 MC Main Settings Import ASAP2 is used to import an external data description into DDS. The supported ASAP2 versions for import are 1.0, 1.2.1, and Input file Page: 9

10 Import IEEE 695 Main Settings Import IEEE is used to import locator information (i.e. addresses) into the project. (You can also use Import ELF to do this) Input file. Page: 10

Export Source Main Settings Export Source exports selected data objects to C- and H-files. The C- representation used is defined by the object s representation models. Directory to export to.

11 Export Source Main Settings Export Source exports selected data objects to C- and H-files. The C- representation used is defined by the object s representation models. Directory to export to. The names are as entered in the objects Contain tab. If checked, all objects in the data are exported. If not checked, only objects in the listed subsystems are exported (so if not checked and no subsystems are listed nothing is exported). Exclude specified C- and H-Files Select subsystems to export. 12 Export ASAM-MCD-2 MC Main Settings Export ASAP2 is used to export a DDS database to a file in ASAP2 format. The ASAP2 export filter supports ASAP2 version 1.4.1: DDS entities that have no ASAP2 equivalent are not exported, and ASAP2 items that cannot be mapped in DDS cannot be generated.
