3 ~ r ) Aministrative Office Technology: AAS.AOT - Program Student Learning Outcomes (PSLO's} Students who obtain an Administrative Office Technology degree at FDTC will have attained knowledge and skills in each of the following areas. These are the student learning outcomes for the program. 1) Students will acquire oral and written business communication skills beyond the general education requirements. Applicable coursework: AOT Professional Development and AOT Business Writing 2) Students will demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, and application of fundamental accounting skills. Course Student Learning Outcome: (1) Students will demonstrate advanced knowledge of the numerical capabilities of Word by creating documents that: sort, select & find, and replace data. Analysis of Results: Formative: 92 % of students scored a 70 or higher on the Chapter 19 quiz. Only one student scored less than a 70 on the quiz. Summative: 85 % of students scored a 70 or higher on Unit Test I. Only two students scored less than a 70 on the unit test: 67 and 63. Strength in student performances: A very high percentage of the students did well on the quiz which then correlated with a slightly lower but high percentage of students who did well on the unit test. The exercises for this section of the course for which these assessments were based did a good job of building the students' skills with the subject matter.
