Change the Time, Date and Camera parameters to find a video clip. Background video image updates to reflect the changes in the time, date or cameras. Select Goto Play the clip. Camera 9 to 16 Use VCR-like controls to play clip. Exit playback and return to the Go To Search screen. Pause Previous image Next image Fast reverse Stop Play reverse Fast forward Play forward Use arrow keys to select: return to Go To search, archive a clip or play all clips. Begin time must be earlier than End time. Tip! Minimize the number of events you search. This minimizes the number of clips you need to review. Start the search. Decide to include dismissed events in search. Select a clip to play back from the list. Play the clip. Camera 1 to 8 or Function 9 to 16 Camera 9 to 16 Select camera to play. Use VCR-like controls to play clip. Exit playback and return to the clip list. Select Void Report Select Execute Select a report to run. Generate a list of clips. Camera 1 to 8 or Function 9 to 16 Camera 9 to 16 Function 2 Select a clip to play back from the list. Play the clip. Select camera to play. Use VCR-like controls to play clip. Exit playback and return to the clip list. Use arrow keys to select: Jump to the Next/Previous clip, return to the clip list, archive clip, or play all clips. Press Enter to confirm the selection. Toggle text on/off. 13 HRDVS Common Operating Procedures Run a Quick Text Report Press... Function MENU Select Quick Log on using default name and password, and open the Report screen. Open the Quick Report screen. Check Text Select Report Criteria Setup Identify the type of report to run. Open the Text Criteria screen. Set as needed Select a blank data line and press then press Camera 3 The first Search Data line must be checked. Select the Text Ports to search. Open the Text Entry screen. Arrow keys Accept Enter text as needed. Confirm entered text. Rev Document
14 Local (Front Panel) View Text Video (Quick Text Report Con t) Continue entering the text report criteria: Press... Enter a Filter (box right of text) Enter a numerical value to the right of the Filter. Select the empty line, press then press Camera 3 Select OK Select Accept Options: X (do not use), > (greater than), < (less than), = (equal to). In this example, you will search for VOIDs that are greater than $5.00. Search for specified text within the time indicated in When to search. Select a clip to play back from the list. Play the clip. Camera 1 to 8 or Function 9 to 16 Camera 9 to 16 Select camera to play. Use VCR-like controls to play clip. Exit playback and return to the clip list. Pause Previous image Next image Fast reverse Stop Play reverse Fast forward Play forward Use arrow keys to select: Jump to the Next/Previous clip, return to the clip list, archive clip, or play all clips. 15 2 Remote Access Software Launch and Connect with RAS Click... Double-click to launch RAS. The Disconnect arrow Pull down the site selection menu. Highlight a site and click. USER 1 (case sensitive) 1234 OK Enter the default user name and password. Connect to the site. Rev Document
16 Remote Access Software View Live with RAS Click on a single camera number or multiscreen button to select live views. Click on Image Quality (1 = high quality) to increase image quality or speed up image updates. Right-click on a camera view to custom position any camera in any square. Click a multiscreen button to set display back to default order. Click to toggle live video on and off. Rev Document
17 HRDVS Common Operating Procedures Resize RAS Live View to Allow Desktop Multitasking RAS can be resized to allow you to multitask. For example you can watch live cameras and do at the same time. Click... Click and drag a corner of the RAS viewer Resize the RAS viewer by dragging the mouse. Resize a Live multi-camera display to about 25% of the viewing area Select a single camera to view Setup, select RAS User Preferences Set Single-Camera Window Size to Small Save View video in smaller window size. Open the RAS User Preferences screen. Shrink default window size. Save changes to User Preferences. Select a single camera view Click and drag a corner of the RAS viewer View video from one input. Resize RAS viewer as desired. Select a multiscreen view Change to a multiscreen view, automatically resized to fit in the window. Rev Document

Display a single camera Open Download Clip screen. Minutes and Seconds OK Accept Select time to download. Open the Save As screen. (Only one camera is downloaded as specified in the search) Enter a filename Save Name the video clip file. Start downloading video. 28 Remote Access Software Make an Evidence Folder Example When downloading video, you can create a specific folder named as you like using Windows. Find a clip to download, click Video and proceed as follows. Click... Type in a folder name Enter Create a new folder. Name the new folder. Accept folder name. Use a title like Robbery March The new folder Type in a filename Save Open the folder you just created. Name the video file. Save the video file. Exit Wait for the file to completely download and click Exit to finish. Rev Document
