5 Installation Limits of trial version: 3 uses limit. To use ZC DVD Creator Platinum with a Windows PC,you must have: DVD writer drives. 256M or more memory. 5 GB or more free disk space. 7 Getting Started System Requirements DVD writer drives. 256M or more memory. 5 GB or more free disk space. DirectX8.0 or higher. 3 Steps to Burning your own DVD Movie: 1.Importing Video : Hit button to open a video project. Hit button to add any video files which you can playback. Hit button to add any video files in the folder which you specify.

8 After importing video files into video List,you could edit the video files,delete,move up,move down any items in the list,you could also save all settings and video as a project file which could be opened later for editing. 2.Designing navigation menu : Click the button "Design" to edit DVD navigation menu as the following picture shows. ZC DVD Creator Platinum is built-in some lovely and animative Hollywood-style DVD menus theme. You can simply select a menu theme by clicking on your desired one to apply to your movie, however, you can also make some changed in the menu layout by editing its onscreen text, and you also can select the music you like to be DVD Menu Background music, and specify your favor image to be DVD Menu background.

9 3.Producing DVD : Click the button "Produce" to burn your DVD Movie as the following picture shows.

11 TV System : NTSC TV system is mainly supported in USA, Canada, South America & the Caribbean. PAL format is supported in most other countries. Comments( What is NTSC and PAL): NTSC: Short for National Television System Committee. The NTSC is standard for television defines a composite video signal with a refresh rate of 60 half-frames (interlaced) per second. Each frame contains 525 lines and can contain 16 million different colors. PAL: Short for Phase Alternating Line, the dominant television standard in Europe. The United States uses a different standard, NTSC Whereas NTSC delivers 525 lines of resolution at 60 half-frames per second, PAL delivers 625 lines at 50 half-frames per second. All DVD writer drives will be listed in the recorder combobox, just select target buner and insert a blanck DVD+R Disc, DVD+RW Disc, DVD-R Disc, DVD-RW disc, DVD-R D9(8.5G dual layer) Disc, DVD+R D9(8.5G dual layer) Disc, if you want to burn video into a DVD. If you want to create a backup of DVD image on your hard disk you should select destination as DVD-Video Folder and select the output folder. DVD Label: Label of target DVD Movie if you burn video into a DVD Disc. Delete temporary files: If you check this, program will delete temporary files after finishing burning video into a DVD Disc. Shutdown computer when finished: If you check this, it will shutdown the computer when mission accomplished. Temporary Folder: Please select a temporary folder before starting process. If everything is OK,click "Start" button to process.

13 How to Preview and edit video file Read here, you will get how to: 1. Playback preview video file; 2. Edit video file, set start and end time; 3. Capture a video scene to be source list item thumbnail image and DVD Menu item thumbnail image; To edit the an item in the video list, please select it then click button. You will get a window popup as the following.

14 How to set start spot and end spot of video clip? Drag the start range slider to set the video start time; Drag the end range slider to set the video end time; :Play video file. :Pause play video file.

16 How to change the thumbnail image on DVD Menu and souce list The auto-captured thumbnail image is too dark, any way, I don't like the autocaptured thumbnail image. Can I change it by myself? Sure you can! you can set any scene on the video file to be thumbnail. First of all add video file onto source list. Please select the item you want to change, then click button. You will get a window popup as the following.

19 How to change the output DVD Type between D5 and D9 I would like to create D5 DVD Movie and D9 DVD Movie. How can I get that? Sure you can use ZC DVD Creator Platinum to create and burn D5 DVD Movie and D9 DVD Movie. Please read the following instruction carefully. And you also can preview the DVD Menu right now before authoring and burning. Go to "Design" tab page, you will get the dialog interface as the following picture shows.
