If you don t remember your username or password, use the account retrieval page here or info.wisms@nmss.org and request it. After entering your log-in information, you should see a page with all the events you are registered for, similar to this:
2 Click on the event name you are registered for to access your participant center. If you are routed to the event registration page, then you aren t registered for that event. (If you believe you are registered, contact us at info.wisms@nmss.org or call and we can help.) Participant Center Homepage The Participant Center homepage will look similar to this:. Progress bar show s your fundraising status. Change fundraising goal. Recent activity On your Participant Center homepage, you can:. Change your fundraising goal. See your activity at the bottom of the page (e.g. s sent, donations added). Check your progress bar From this page you can get anywhere in the Participant Center.
3 This page is divided out below: The top navigation lets you: 4. Edit your profile (change name, password, , address and remember me option). Log out of this page (it will take you to the National MS Society homepage, not the Wisconsin Chapter pages). Your (write, save and send s; add contacts and see who you ve contacted or need to send thank you s to) 4. Your fundraising progress page (shows your donations to date). Edit your personal page (add a photo, change the page text, add special features). Get help The right navigation: 4. Go directly to the Compose an page. Enter a new donation. You can enter an offline gift you received but haven t given to the Chapter yet. (You must fill in all the lines of information except recognition name, and street.). Go to your contacts page 4. Go to your fundraising progress page. Edit your personal page. Edit the questions you answered when you registered Changing Your Fundraising Goal On the first page of the participant center you will see your goal.
4 Click the change link (in blue). This will open a little blue box in the middle of the page where you can enter your new fundraising goal. Pages With these pages you can add contacts, send s and save composed messages. Be sure to save your s often, as the system doesn t recognize the time you spend typing and it will time out after 0-0 minutes. It is recommended that you compose your message in Word and paste it into the body when you are ready to send your message composing page options. Send s with this button
5 . Save draft after you have saved a template first DO THIS OFTEN.. See your before you send it. (Select the edit link next to the send link to get out of the preview mode.) 4. Saves your s. (It s important to do this as soon as you start any ; all s time out after 0-0 minutes.). Your templates and the standard Society templates are stored here. Takes you to your contacts list where you can add recipients and select your contacts. (To return to the composing page, select the compose message button under the contacts caption.) 7. Online help button 8. Lets you pick different headers for your s. (Each can only be seen in preview mode #.) 9. Current page you re on 0. Is a backup for all your saved messages drafts in case you liked a previous version. A history of who has received which messages. Where you manage all your s and donors Saving s To save your first edits, select Save as Template. You ll get a green box letting you know it was successfully saved. To see your saved template, select the Use/Hide templates link. You as work on a template you can also save s drafts Save Draft and access those in the Drafts link on the right. TIP: If you keep resaving as a template the system will not save drafts of your message. Templates do not transfer from year to year but the drafts will. Saved message Here is a magnified version of the Hide Template section: Drop down link for templates
6 Contacts Page In this section you can manage all your contacts and information about those who have donated to you Compose Message Takes you to the compose message page. Select the box to the right of a contact and select Compose to add those selected contacts to an . Add to Group Lets you create a group or add contacts to a group. To create a group, click the Add to Group link and select Create a New Group. A blue box will appear in the middle of the page: Enter the group name and it will appear in the drop down menu the next time you click the Add to Group link. To add a member to a group, select the box next to the contact s name then click the Add to Group link, and select the group name.. Delete Lets you delete duplicate or invalid contacts. 4. All This will everyone in your contacts list. (This might not work if you have bad s in your contact list. Please edit or delete any bad s.). Search Contact Searches your contacts.
7 . Groups View your contacts in group mode. You can remove anyone from a group by selecting the sign on the far right of the contact s listing. There are standard groups like ed, Donated and Thanked. 7. Individual Contact Selecting a name opens the person s profile where you can edit their information and the groups that they are in. 8. Groups Lists what groups contacts are in. 9. Keeps track of s sent, opened and if recipients have visited your personal page. 0. Donations Keeps track of donations. (If you would like more than your 0 donation history, us at info.wisms@nmss.org.). Import Contacts Upload a group of contacts from another system. (Yahoo and Gmail have automatic step-by-step instructions within the participant center. If you operate with a different system, you will need to export a csv file from that system. Most have instructions and steps within their address book/contacts system to help you with that. Once finished, there are step-by-step instructions for uploading your csv in this section.). Add Contact Add one contact at a time.. Visible - Adds or removes box checkmarks from everyone that is visible on the page. 4. Contacts/Page - Lets you change the number of contacts per page. (NOTE: Using the 00 option slows some computers.) Progress Page View your fundraising progress on this page. 4
8 . Change your fundraising goal (like on the homepage).. Enter an offline gift you received but haven t sent in yet.. Stop receiving notifications when you receive each donation. 4. Open a new page (pop-ups will need to be allowed).. Keep an Excel history of your donations. (The donor list below this link doesn t always list everyone so this is a complete list.) Personal Page A personal page is what people see on the Internet to encourage them to donate to you. This page lets you edit your personal page Preview your personal page.. Create or edit your personal URL. (Contact us at info.wisms@nmss.org if you created a personal URL previously and would like to use it again; we can reset it for you.). Upload a photo or YouTube video link. (Only one photo can be used.) 4. Turn on your goal thermometer, change your fundraising honor roll, or set up a blog in this section.
9 . The title is auto-populated, but you can edit it. (Once you edit the title or body it will no longer be autopopulated and will need to be edited by you.). This information is auto-populated, but you can edit it to make it more personalized. (The information will no longer be auto-populated once you edit it.) Be sure to save often, as the system doesn t recognize time spent typing and may time out of your session. If that happens, copy and paste the text into an outside program like Word, log in again to your Participant Center, then copy and paste the text back in.) 7. If you preview and do not click Save It, your changes will not be saved.
