1 AT&T Bolt-On Ordering & Sales Tool BOOST (Indirect) BOOST Overview BOOST (Bolt-on Ordering and Sales Tool) is an AT&T ordering tool that currently supports Tech Support 360 and Web Hosting products. The Boost training is divided into 2 parts: Boost for Direct Sales Boost for Indirect Sales Both are comprised of an on-line tutorial accompanied by a learning guide. This document will address Boost for Indirect Sales. 2 AT&T Bolt-On Ordering & Sales Tool BOOST (Indirect), Login Screen Follow the steps below to login to BOOST: 1 Click Internet Explorer - Favorites Note: if BOOST is not already in your favorites, use this link to log on, and add to favorites. 2 Click BOOST Login 3 Enter your User Name and Password Note: Your password is case sensitive. 4 Click Login Note: Your USER ID and Password are assigned to you. If you become locked out of BOOST, please see a Supervisor or Administrator for assistance. P a g e 2
3 Selecting the Agent Selecting the Agent When recording an Indirect Sale, you must always first determine the agent who will receive credit for the sale. In this section, select the agent: 1 Click Record an Indirect Sale 2 Select Category to Search from the drop-down menu Note: In this example, we will search for the agent by using their name. 3 Enter Search For criteria Note: In this example, we are searching by agent s name. If you are unable to find a seller by name, you should try sales code or address before assuming they are not loaded in BOOST. 4 Click Search P a g e 3

5 New Customer New Customer - Premium Plus Subscription In this section, we will record a sale for a new customer. In this example, we will create a new customer record and then record the sale of a Tech Support 360 Premium Plus Subscription. Follow these steps to create a new customer record and record a sale of a Tech Support 360 Premium Plus Subscription: 1 Create the customer account by entering the following: Address Business Telephone Number Customer Name Company Name Street Address Country Zip Code City / State Note: Enter the zip code first! The City and State will automatically populate. 2 Determine the customer s method of payment (credit card or BTN) and make the appropriate selection in the Billing field 1 2 P a g e 5
6 New Customer, New Customer - Premium Plus Subscription, 3 In the Sell Product section, under Available Products; Click on the appropriate type of product (In this example, Premium PLUS Subscription, from the Tech 360 Menu) 4 Click Add to move the product to the Selected Products column If applicable, select the promotion code from the dropdown menu displayed below: 5 P a g e 6

8 New Customer, New Customer - Premium Plus Subscription, 7 Click Process Payment to submit the order 8 The Sales Order Screen appears with a summary of the order and an order number. Review the confirmation page to ensure the information is accurate. 7 8 P a g e 8
9 Customer - Server Product Customer - Server Product In this section, we will record a sale for an existing customer. In this example, we will show the sale of one of our Server offerings, Server Enhanced w/backup. Follow these steps to record a sale of Server Enhanced w/ Backup for an existing customer: 1 Follow the steps to determine the agent who will receive credit for the sale as seen on pages 4 5 in the previous section of this document 2 You will be returned to the customer record screen. Enter the customer s address Note: Enter the address only once. Do not re enter the address in the re enter box on the right. If you do this, the screen will return an empty customer record and you will need to repeat the entire process. 2 P a g e 9
10 Customer - Server Product, Customer - Server Product, 3 In the Sell Product section, under Available Products; click on the appropriate type of product (In this example, Server Support Enhanced, from the Tech 360 Server Support menu) 4 Click Add P a g e 10
11 Customer - Server Product, Customer - Server Product, 6 You will see the Configure Server Support Enhance Subscription, shown below: Select the Term Length 7 Enter the DocViewer ID (6 digits) 8 Enter the Server Name 9 Click the appropriate selections in the Add Ons section Note: in this example, we are adding Server Backup and Server Backup Installation. 10 Click OK P a g e 11
12 Customer - Server Product, Customer - Server Product, 12 Make the appropriate entries in the Notes field. This field is mandatory. Note: if the seller has not provided any notes, just add no notes provided. 13 Click OK Complete the sale as shown on pages 7 8 in the previous section of this document 15 Review the confirmation page as shown on page 8 in the previous section of this document P a g e 12
13 Customer- Web Hosting Product Customer - Web Hosting Product In this section, we will record a sale for an existing customer. In this example, we will show the sale of Web Hosting Virtual Dedicated Server Product, Linux VDS Basic. Follow these steps to record a sale of Virtual Dedicated Server Plans for an existing customer: 1 Follow the steps to determine the agent who will receive credit for the sale as seen on pages 4 5 in the previous section of this document 2 Follow step 2 page 9 in the previous section of this document to access the customer s account 3 In the Sell Product section, under Available Products; click on the appropriate type of product (In this example, Virtual Dedicated Server Plans, from the Web Hosting menu) 4 Click the Add button 3 4 P a g e 13
14 Customer- Web Hosting Product, Customer - Web Hosting Product, 5 You will see the Configure Virtual Dedicated Server Plans, shown below: First, select Register New or Use Note: In this example, we are registering a new domain. 6 If registering a new domain, enter the Domain name Note: If using an existing domain proceed to step 8. 7 Click the Check For Availability button to ensure the domain is not already being used 8 Select the registration length from the drop-down menu (Options are 1,2,3,5 and 10 years) 9 Select Linux or Windows as the operating system Note: In this example, we are selecting Linux. 10 Select the Plan Type from the drop-down menu Note: In this example, we are recording the sale of a Basic VDS Hosting Plan P a g e 14
15 Customer- Web Hosting Product, Customer - Web Hosting Product, 11 Select the Registration Length from the drop-down menu 12 Enter the ECATS Number Note: The ECATS number refers the contract number logged into the AT&T Enterprise Contract Administration System. It will be at least six characters long. Note: the ECATS number is only required on Terms. MTM plans do not require the ECATS number P a g e 15

Follow these steps to record a sale of a Business Class Subscription for an existing customer: 1 Follow the steps to determine the agent who will receive credit for the sale as seen on pages 4 5 in the previous section of this document 2 Follow step 2 page 9 in the previous section of this document to access the customer s account 3 In the Sell Product section, under Available Products; click on the appropriate type of product (In this example, Plans, from the Web Hosting menu) 4 Click the Add button 3 4 P a g e 17
