4 ZF Registration 1 General ZF External Applications are applications that ZF Friedrichshafen AG provides for customers and suppliers. We can offer services, information, and data on a secure Internet platform. In this way, you can access current data at any time and thus optimize your collaboration with ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Note: The ZF Registration Help only describes application-specific subjects. Once you are a registered user, you find more information in the corresponding application. Important: The Help document is applicable only for external suppliers and customers of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. 2 ZF Registration The ZF Registration is a self service for external ZF partners and is part of the Internet presence of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. You can access it on the home page of any ZF External Application or directly under The self service consists of 4 core components My user data My company data My services Delete user account Access is granted after authentication by entering user name and password. 5 2.1 User registration ZF Registration You can find the registration form on the login page of any ZF External Application at "Apply for access". You will have to input user, company, and application data. The application for access will then be reviewed by ZF Friedrichshafen AG. You have to specify the following information, mandatory fields are marked in red: User data: form of address, first name, last name, address, telephone, mobile, fax, language, department, role, reason for application The address is used to forward your password and user name! Figure 1 Registration form "My Profile" Declaration of consent: The declaration of consent to save personal data must be accepted otherwise you will not be granted access to the applications. 2

6 Figure 2 Registration form "Declaration of consent" Company data: name of company, D-U-N-S, street & house number, ZIP code, town, country, number of employees, company type, contacts at ZF ( address) Figure 3 Registration form "My company" Service (authorization) request: During registration, users can select one or several applications, but this does not necessarily result in these applications being authorized immediately. Following registration, the application manager/point of sale has to review the registration first and can then either approve or reject it. ZF Friedrichshafen AG reserves its right to determine what type of authorization the user will be assigned in the actual application. Please note that you do not necessarily have to select an application here! You can also create a user account "only" and get the authorization by a ZF application manager. 3

7 A user will receive an regarding what specific access has been assigned only after the application for registration has been approved. Figure 4 Registration form "My services" 2.2 Changing user data The data you entered during the initial registration can be changed anytime. Data have to be kept up-to-date. Exceptions are the user ID and the ZF contact. Please note that changes of the following attributes are checked by ZF first before the changed values are visible. Company name Company type address 4

8 Figure 5 Administration of your "ZF user account" 2.3 Apply for further services Furthermore, you can request access to further applications under "My services"; for this, click on "Request services". The request is reviewed and then approved or rejected by the corresponding application manager. 5

9 Figure 6 Requesting further services 2.4 User recertification Once a year, you have to confirm to ZF Friedrichshafen AG that you still need access to the ZF External Applications. 30 days prior to locking your user account, you will receive the request to confirm the continued usage. 2.5 Delete user When you do not need your access to ZF External Applications any longer, you can delete your user. The effect of deleting your user is that you immediately lose any access to ZF External Applications! 6

10 Figure 7 Delete user 3 Resetting the Password The user can be assigned a new password. This may be necessary in the following cases: Forgot password If a user has entered the wrong password three times The new password must be changed into a personal password the first time you log in. Resetting is triggered using the link to the ZF password manager on the login page of the corresponding ZF External Application. Figure 8 Link to password manager 7
