2 Class Synopsis This presentation is a general overview of how to file Gas Well Completion Reports (G-1) utilizing the Railroad Commission of Texas Online Completion Filing System. By the end of this presentation you will understand how to properly file online completions for gas wells drilled in the State of Texas. 10 Filing A New Completion To begin filing a completion, please enter a drilling permit (preferably) or API number and search. 6/23/

11 Select the Field Select the field in which the well was completed. If the well is downhole commingled, please select the field for the reporting wellbore on your approved SWR 10 letter. 6/23/

18 Form G-1(Page 1) If you are providing data for a single run on form G- 1, this is a one point test, thus a 72 hour test. Please note how the Date of Test is 3 days or 72 hours AFTER the completion date. In Gas a single run or one point test is 72 hours and the completion date and test date should be at minimum three days apart for a one point test. 6/23/

19 Form G-1(Page 1 continued) The data provided here is for a one point test which is a 72 hour test. Again, the volume MCF/day (last column in Gas Measurement Data) should be multiplied roughly three times and this value should be the Gas Produced during Test. Each field in the Gas Measurement Data line should be completely filled out. The Field Data and Pressure Calculations time of run should equal 72 hours in minutes for a one point or 72 hour test. 6/23/

20 Form G-1(Page 2) The lease acreage, lease line distance values and call directions, Total Vertical depth and Measured Depth will all be reviewed against the drilling permit. Any changes from the time of permitting should be referenced on page 5 in the remarks section. Please note some changes may require a drilling permit amendment. 6/23/

21 Form G-1(Page 3) District The data listed here should correspond with the attached GAU letter. If this value is greater than 180 hours the district office must be contacted. 6/23/

23 Form G-1(Page 5) This is where you are producing from. This number must accurate as it allows us to ensure you are within the correlative interval of the field. This will avoid a SWR 10 violation. All work performed to the well including Cast Iron Bridge Plugs, Cement Squeezes, Fracturing etc., should be listed here. The work should include beginning and ending depths. 6/23/

24 Form G-1(Page 5 continued) Any abnormalities should be listed here including increase or decrease in acreage, pooling of units, name changes, lease line distance changes, etc., 6/23/

25 Form G-1(Page 6) If this question is marked yes then you should be reporting to FracFocus. If this question is marked No and there were no remarks indicating otherwise the well may be process incorrectly and the permit will be closed out. If this question is marked yes then a P-12 & lease plat are required. 6/23/

28 Form G-10 Please ensure that your test date is, at minimum, three days after the completion date for a one point test. If the well is not a dry gas well be sure to include condensate values unless tested on a different day than the G-1 test date. 6/23/

35 Load Attachments Make sure you select the correct attachment type. Plats should only be attached as.tif files all others can be attached as.tif or.pdf. The size limit for any attachment is 6mb. 6/23/

40 Proration Acreage List An acreage list may be required by field rules. It details each well on the lease in the specified field and the acres allocated to each well. Gas Analysts are not allowed to change acreage based off the data on an acreage list. Either a P-15 and plat for each well or P-16 must be submitted. 6/23/
