Courses are offered in three knowledge levels: Fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced. User Obligations & Policies Courses are for SSOE employees only. Additionally, Authorization Codes are specific to company and or division Please do not share it with others. If someone is interested in taking courses with RedVector, please contact your Regional Administrator or manager. Do not enroll in a course until you are ready to take the course(s). See Page #5 for Webinar info. There is no shopping cart for holding courses. When you click enroll the course is placed in the account. Before enrolling click on the course title /open SYNOPSIS/OVERVIEW - review the course s description objectives - knowledge level and Course Approvals tab to confirm license renewal approvals if needed. Enrollments are limited to 15 hours at one visit and must be completed before more hours are enrolled. i.e. Only enroll in those courses you can complete within 30 days before enrolling in more. SSOE s account is deducted / charged when the course is enrolled. Opened courses are not refundable SSOE expects you to complete the enrolled training. You have 12 months from enrollment to access the course for review & reference before materials expire. Eligibility to access company paid training could be forfeited by misuse or wasting of company paid hours. 3 GETTING STARTED >TRANSFER an EXISTING RedVector account If you have a personal RedVector account, or an account created with another company, you can have that account transferred to your company along with your records. Simply contact RedVector s Technical Support at Be sure to have your Company Authorization Code ready. The Code comes from the company contact. Do not create another account if you already have one with RedVector ask for a transfer of your account. DO NOT SHARE YOUR COMPANY CODE with another employee as you may not use the same code. >CREATING a NEW RedVector account 1. Open Internet Explorer - go to ssoe.redvector.com - click CREATE NEW ACCOUNT or SIGN IN. 2. Under the New Users section - follow the directions, and add the Authorization Code located on the New User Registration Page. See your company contact for the code. Do not share the code. 3. Next fill-in the ACCOUNT PROFILE as directed on the next page using your company data. Fill out your profile, create a Login ID and a Password using the following format: Login ID/Username: Your SSOE address (Example: FirstinitialLastname@ssoe.com) Password: your decision pick something easy like your Employee number or DOB. (Example: ) 4. Add any license(s) for which you may need reporting of CE/PDH credits before completing a course >LOGIN to your existing SSOE account 1. Open Internet Explorer go to: ssoe.redvector.com 2. On the Portal HOMEPAGE, enter your Login ID and Password. Use the data setup in your account profile. Login ID/Username: SSOE address required (Example: FirstinitialLastname@ssoe.com) Password: Use something easy to remember like DOB (Example: ) If you ve forgotten your login information, click the Forgot your password? link and follow the instructions Page 2

4 ACCOUNT PROFILE PAGE SETUP This profile section may appear as individual slides to be filled in and submitted a section at a time. USER NUMBER be sure to add your employee number here. IMPORTANT: Company field: enter SSOE Group Include all s from which you will be accessing RedVector, separated by a semi-colon (;). If connecting from home, include a home . Example: donna.hamilton@redvector.com; donn@gmail.com donna@yahoo.com Login ID: Enter your company Password: Enter your choice for Password Fill out your Address information. (A work address is acceptable) TIP: First / Last Name will appear on completion certificates EXACTLY as you enter it on this profile page. Use proper upper & lower case spelling no nicknames. Page 3

5 >Licenses & Membership # s - (must be added to your account prior to course completion). Add any license(s) for which you may need reporting of CE/PDH credits at some point. Select from the drop- down box, fill in the appropriate information, and then click Add License to save the entry. When finished adding your data, click Click here to Register. 6 . >License Requirements Lookup cont d >SEARCH tab - Courses - CE VERIFICATION - ENROLLING - RedVector is a continuing education program for our licensed professionals. If you are not a licensed professional, please contact your Department Manager and Manager of L&D to use the SSOE/RedVector library for training & career development. To search for professional development training courses use the KEYWORD, ITEM #, CATEGORY or PROFESSION fields under General Filters or scroll the alphabetical list of courses. STEP 1. Using Search Options: Login at the corporate website-choose the SEARCH icon (next page image display). Choose a filter option - click Search to narrow results. Always CLEAR results to search again. Locate course titles in the results list at the bottom of the page click the title for a SYNOPSIS. The SEARCH tools will reduce the size of the catalog to a more specific list. SEARCH alone does not verify courses for license renewal. See next page for Step #2. Page 5

7 NOTE: Login to your company account to SEARCH for courses. All libraries are not the same. The course SEARCH section has been recently modified for easier use. Note : To verify the course or webinar is accepted for your State Board or Organization After locating a course title & before enrolling - Click the course title to open the OVERVIEW seen below- Read the course OVERVIEW & APPLIES TO tab before you enroll to be sure it is the topic and materials you want. If obtaining CE - Locate your State & Profession under the APPLIES TO tab if your State/Profession or Organization does not appear - the course / webinar is not acceptable for CE. Page 6

8 >MY COURSES tab Alert messages - Removal of courses Enrollment limit: MY COURSES tab is the location for enrolled and not completed courses. Once completed course materials will reside Under the HISTORY tab until they expire. If you have any unwanted courses listed in MY COURSES, or courses you cannot complete in 30 days, be sure to REMOVE them from your account right away so SSOE is not charged for hours. Review & REFUND time is limited to 30 days after enrollment at which time the tool disappears. If you go over the 30-day completion guideline and have opened the course - you are expected to complete the course(s) in a timely manner. (Contact your manager with questions). A course title seen in the catalog highlighted in blue indicates this course is enrolled into your account already and may or may not be completed. Do not enroll in it again unless needed.* If this enrollment is by mistake - be sure to REMOVE the title from MY COURSES so SSOE is not charged again for the same course. *Some courses need to be repeated occasionally for CE i.e. Florida Engineer Laws & Rules. If you have reached the SSOE s per visit enrollment limit a message will appear under the course titles advising that you have chosen too many hours. Contact Catherine Henrichsen at (813) or catherine.henrichsen@redvector.com for instructions on enrolling in large packages, otherwise enroll in only a couple courses at a time. Page 7

9 TIME SAVING TIP: Print the EXAM Questions before staring the course! (See image of screen on next page). 1) Open the MY COURSES link click START COURSE and proceed to the next page (see image below) Print out the exam questions prior to beginning your online review of the course materials. Fill in your answers on the print pages as you advance thru the course. When completed open the EXAM and enter your answers for each question check to be sure the questions are in the same order. You may take the exam multiple times to achieve PASS. The red arrow below leads to the EXAM file print option. Print before starting the course just fill in your answers. You will have the answer copy for reference you may correct any incorrect answers when you get your grade online avoid any frustration from forgetting THAT answer since you reviewed THAT section - accidentally closing the exam or course needing to juggle from the course to the exam screen to find answers you need. >PRINTING COURSE FILES Optimum results are achieved by accessing the online course printing a course is no longer advised the course.pdf file is HUGE and is NOT the same as the online course version but in many cases is the reference materials used to create the course. 10 NEED MORE INFORMATION? If the website/ screen is misaligned check device compatibility settings. Courses When searching, Filter 2 has an option to search by course Level (fundamental / intermediate / advanced). Click on a course title to view more information on license approvals in the course SYNOPSIS/OVERVIEW. You can logout of a course at any time. The system will save your progress so you can return where you left off. To view older, completed courses, click My Courses from the Ribbon, then click the My History tab. MY TRANSCRIPTS is a list of all completed training with data about CE applications and hours. Webinars To attend a Webinar, all viewers must enroll via their user account - even for group viewing events. Enroll at least 48 hours in advance. Look for an instructional prior to the start time. It will contain your session link, sign-in information and password (if applicable). Do not share this information. Webinars are hosted LIVE via WebEx, if you are unable to attend; notify RedVector no later than the morning of the presentation scheduled time to avoid being charged. Refunds cannot happen after the presentation. When viewing a webinar in a group environment, sign-up sheets and a coordinator affidavit must be used. catherine.henrichsen@redvector.com Webinar certificates are placed in the user account within 24 hours of attendance. Attendance is monitored via State regulations for CE achievement the attendee must remain logged in the entire time of the presentation to receive credit and completion proof. NOTE: Webcasts are recorded versions of LIVE webinars and may not be approved for CE Check the SYNOPSIS/Overview of the webinar. Certificates of Completion (Certificates remain available in the user account to be printed as needed). Certificates may be printed at any time after completion. From the Main Page, click My Certificates in the Navigation Ribbon. NOTE: Selection of a License or the Non-Specific option is required prior to printing. The information printed on the certificate is shown the same way the user entered it into their account profile. Licenses RedVector will report CE/PDH credits where required. You must have a license or membership listed in your account for RedVector to report your credits. License info may be added anytime, but should be in place before course completion. If not call Tech Support. Give reporting several days after completion of any CE requirements. State Boards only allow reporting to be sent on certain dates Call RedVector Tech Support for the days reporting takes place. Anything completed within the time frame will be reported all at one time for the week. Be sure to pay attention to the RENEWAL DATE posted on your State Board or Organization website once CE is reported for the current renewal period the date may auto advance to the next reporting period showing ZERO credits received. OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 Construction Card series OSHA 10 & 30 certificate courses are ordered by separate SEAT license purchase via your company contact. Page 9

11 FAQ s I don t have any licenses or professional memberships. Can I use RedVector? Though RedVector is primarily for our licensed professionals, others may be approved to take RedVector courses. Contact your manager and the Manager, L&D. I forgot my Login ID and/or password. Click the Forgot your password? link on the Login page and follow the directions. Call Tech Support for login . I don t remember if I have an account already set up. Contact RedVector Tech Support at If you want to move your account or change your status have your Company Authorization Code ready. (Or contact Catherine Henrichsen at (813) or catherine.henrichsen@redvector.com if you have any problems) I can t find a specific course. Don t use all of the search filters at once. Be sure to start your search broad, one filter at a time, and then narrow the choices gradually so as not to miss the course. Also, be sure to start with general terms (such as: Road, Bridge, Electric, Safety, etc.). Chances are the course name may be listed differently than what you re expecting. If you still can t find it, contact your company Training Administrator or RedVector for assistance. How do I know if this is the right course for me? In the Results list, hover your mouse over the Course Title, or click on it, read the OVERVIEW about the course. If you are searching for a license-specific or an organization-specific course, be sure to review the Course Approved for: tab next to the OVERVIEW tab. I accidentally enrolled in the wrong course OR I enrolled in a duplicate course. How do I remove it? Login to your account - Open MY COURSES tab & click the X checkbox next to the course title within 30 days of enrollment. If you have passed your 30 day refund review period contact your RedVector account manager at catherine.henrichsen@redvector.com to avoid unnecessary charges and loss of training hours to the company block of hours. Is my State LICENSE or Organizational MEMBERSHIP renewal covered by this course? After entering your state license(s) and profession to search for courses, before enrolling click on any course title to see a course OVERVIEW. Next open the Course Approved for : tab a list of State Boards/Professions and Organizations that have approved and will accept this course for license renewal. Example: If you have three licenses and all three are listed, you can use this course for all three renewals. If only one of your licenses is listed, you must choose another course to meet those requirements. Will RedVector report my credits to the appropriate agencies or organizations? RedVector will report CE/PDH credits where required. You must have a license listed in your account in order for RedVector to report credits. Licenses must be added prior to course completion. RedVector will support any audit resulting from the use of RedVector course titles.. How can I get a certificate for a course I completed? How can I check my accreditation status? From the Main Page, click My Certificates in the Ribbon. You can select what information to print on the certificate using the drop-down boxes. To check status, visit your State Board website. Login to your account and follow the steps to check renewal status. My question is not listed. Additional answers might be found on your company INTRANET / Education or Training section. If your issue still has not been addressed, please contact your company Training Administrator or RedVector Tech Support (see Cover). How do I enroll in OSHA 10? OSHA refresher safety courses are available in your library however, submit a Page 11

12 Helpdesk ticket, Human Resources, Learning & Development to obtain access to an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 course. TROUBLESHOOTING If you run into technical problems or get an error message, try the following: It is strongly recommended that you log in using Internet Explorer for best performance. Missing data, links that do not open and various errors may occur when using other browsers. Windows 10 and IE 11 may need to be adjusted for compatibility see your Net Admin / IT support. WI FI connections can be tricky as they are occasionally not strong enough to support course & exam activities. Your signal may drop and pages close or freeze. This is particularly evident in Airports & Hotels. Login or page errors & misalignment often occur from cookies and temp files building up in your computer. Be sure that your PC has been cleaned regularly and that these files are deleted regularly. Open an IE browser page /go to TOOLS then DELETE clear history / cache and temp files. Contact your local IT or Network Admin or RedVector Client Support for assistance. Check compatibility settings. It is a good idea to restart your computer after "cleaning out" your cookies and temp files. You must ALLOW "Pop-Ups" on your computer to permit RedVector courses to play properly. o In Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS menu - select Pop-up Blocker, and then Turn Off Pop-up Blocker. o If using another browser, there should be a similar option under the TOOLS or OPTIONS menu. o Consult your browser s Help file for further assistance. o When finished with the course, turn the Pop-up Blocker back on if you prefer to do so. Be sure to check your ACCOUNT PROFILE for any spelling errors entered when you created your Username and Password. Misspellings in your account will create login errors. In case of a name change (marriage etc.) please contact RedVector Tech Support and identify yourself as a corporate user with a name change request. Due to state board regulations name changes which could be used on a completion certificate for CE must be changed by RedVector. Contacting Red Vector s Client Support The quickest and most reliable response is achieved by: Calling and ask for Corporate Client Support. Identify that you are a corporate user with SSOE Group so you get the correct information pertaining to YOUR account status. Individual & Corporate accounts differ.
