2 Campaign Overview Kia Buy 3 Tires, Get the 4th for $1 Promotion This new marketing campaign opportunity will help drive service traffic and revenue to your dealership this summer. This marketing campaign is available to ALL Kia dealers - your dealership doesn t have to be enrolled in the KORE Program to participate. One (1) 11x5.75 oversized postcard is available for customization in the KORE Program Portal ( Oversized postcard price is $0.31/piece + postage. All orders must be placed by midnight EST / 9pm PST on Monday, June 15th, Target the desired audience and choose 1st class or standard postage; the in-home date will appear on screen prior to placing your order. PLEASE NOTE: If your dealership is enrolled in KORE and KOSS (Xtime Service Scheduling), your appointment scheduling QR code will automatically be included on the back of your Tire Event mailer (as circled below). 2
3 GETTING STARTED - SUBSCRIBER PROFILE 1. Log in to the KORE Portal at If you don t have a username & password, call or KiaHelp@KOREProgram.com. 2. Upon logging in, review your Subscriber Profile to ensure your dealership contact information is up-to-date. Go to the Administration tab on the top toolbar, then click on Subscriber Profile in the dropdown. 1. To edit the information in your Profile, click on Edit Mode in the bottom left corner (circled in black below) 2. Click on the red arrow to expand that section (Sales, Service, Parts, Certified Product Specialist). 3. Once in the section you d like to edit, click in the field and type the updated information. 4. Once all changes have been made, click on Submit in the bottom right corner (circled in red below). This will save your changes and apply them to future marketing campaigns. 3
4 CAMPAIGN LIBRARY 1. Customize your Tire Event campaign by clicking on Campaigns in the top menu bar. 2. Type Tire into the search bar or simply scroll through the Campaign Library to find the available template. Once you ve selected your template, click on the blue text underneath the thumbnail image (circled below) to begin customization. 4
5 CAMPAIGN CUSTOMIZATION 1. In the below Campaign Details page, the 2015 Tire Event template will appear. You can preview the template by clicking on the campaign thumbnail image. Click on Next to proceed with customization. Click here to view a preview of the campaign --> <-- Click here to select the campaign and move to the next screen 5
6 CUSTOMIZE CAMPAIGN 1. In the Customize Campaign screen shown below, a preview of the postcard will appear on the left and your dealership-specific information will appear in dropdowns on the right. The coupons are already hard-coded in your piece - all you need to do is input your price for The Works offer. You will type this in the Free Form section at the top of the screen (circled in red below): Click in the Offer Amount box and type in your price for The Works coupon. By scrolling down in the Customize screen, you can view The Works coupon price you entered. 2. Once The Works offer has been customized, select the contact information that you d like to appear on your piece (Phone number, address, service hours, etc.). These fields are pulled directly from your Subscriber Profile. Scroll down here to view page 2 of the postcard --> SAMPLE <-- Select contact information for your Tire Event mailer by clicking in the dropdown boxes. A preview of the contact information will appear in Selected Value. View The Works price you input here > SAMPLE 6
7 GENERATE PROOF 1. Click on Generate Proof to view the entire direct mail piece. You may choose to download or a proof. If an proof is desired, fill in the To and From in the Address field and click Send as shown below. Scroll down here to view page 2 of the postcard --> SAMPLE <-- Click here to generate a proof 7
8 SELECT DATA 1. In the Select Data screen shown below, select the data source from the dropdown. Kia Customer Data is your DMS data and Kia My Customer Data will only appear if you have uploaded a list previously to the KORE Portal. If your dealership is NOT enrolled in the KORE Program, you will need to upload a list for your campaign. See instructions on page If desired, you may apply criteria to filter your list and target specific audiences. If the data contains all customers that should receive the communication, this step is NOT necessary. 3. To apply filters, click on Add Criteria and select filters from the dropdown: Contact Zip Code, Vehicle Model, Vehicle Make, Vehicle Purchase Date, Vehicle Year, Last Service Mileage, Last Service Mileage, Last Service Date. Follow the on-screen prompts to apply criteria. Once the customer criteria is complete, click on Next. 8
9 SCHEDULE DELIVERY 1. In the Schedule Delivery screen shown below, select your postage (standard or first-class) then schedule delivery - this is the approximate date that your mail piece will arrive in consumers homes. Click on Next when complete. ORDER VERIFICATION 1. The below screen will provide a complete summary of your campaign, including the cost, data source and number of recipients, postage and delivery date. You may click on the image or the Preview button (circled below) to view your campaign. Please review and ensure the details are as you desire. Click on Place Order when complete. Your dealership will be billed on your monthly Kia Parts Statement. 9

11 GETTING STARTED - CUSTOMER DATA NOT NECESSARY FOR DEALERS WHO ARE ENROLLED IN KORE 1. Before loading a.csv file into the KORE Portal please ensure that the column headers match EXACTLY what is shown below. The first 6 columns (FirstName, LastName, Address, City, State, Zip) are REQUIRED. The other columns must be included in your file, but data is not required to be input (if not needed in your campaign). Please save all.xls files as.csv files, then close Excel before uploading the file to the KORE Portal. ALL OF THE FIELDS SHOWN BELOW MUST BE IN YOUR FILE USING THE EXACT NAMES DISPLAYED. THESE FIELDS SHOULD BE ARRANGED FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, STARTING WITH FIRST NAME & ENDING WITH LAST SALES DATE. SEE SAMPLE LAYOUT ON PAGE 5. To load the customer list for your Tire Event campaign, go to the Administration tab and click on My Customer Data in the dropdown. 3. Upload your file by clicking on Add New List as shown below. 4. Provide a list name in the top field. When complete, click Browse and upload the file from your computer. As a reminder, your list MUST be a.csv file. Once the file has been added, click Upload Tire Event List 11

13 GETTING STARTED - CUSTOMER DATA CONTINUED 5. When your list has been loaded successfully, the below screen will appear with a summary of the new customer file. From there, you are ready to begin customizing your Tire Event campaign Tire Event List 2015 Tire Event List CUSTOMER DATA TIPS: The only required columns are FirstName, LastName, Address, City, State, Zip Code. The file is required to have column headers that match the name and capitalization exactly as they appear on page 3 above. For example, Firstname will not work but FirstName will. This applies to all columns in the file you are attempting to upload. The columns can be arranged in any order so long as the data matches to the header. The file may contain extra columns - these will be ignored. The date columns must be in either of the following formats: MMDDYYYY (Example: March 15, 2010 = ) or YYYYDDMM (Example: March 15, 2010 = ) Customer lists will stay on the KORE Portal for future use unless you delete them. 13
