3 SUMMARY 5W - Astraeus Airlines - ceased trading during W11, flights for Iceland Express are now being operated by Holiday Czech Airlines (HCC). 9U - Air Moldova - increased operations in S12, operating 2 weekly services to KIV via FRA, using an A32. AB - Air Berlin - dropped HAJ services for S12. AP - Air One - new MXP services, twice daily, using an A32. (South Terminal) BA - British Airways - New routes for S12 are ALG, MRU and NCE. Routes dropped CAG, SSH and MBJ. BW - Caribbean Airlines - daily operations to POS via BGI, using a B767 from June direct services to POS and 3 via BGI. (South Terminal) CA - Air China - 4 services per week to PEK using A33 (North Terminal). CU - Cubana - ceasing operations at LGW mid April D7 - Air Asia X - ceasing operations at LGW mid April DL - Delta Air Lines - ceasing operations at LGW mid April. DY - Norwegian Air Shuttle - New services to GOT, 6 times a week using the B EI - Aer Lingus - Reduced services to AGP and SNN has ceased for S12 from LGW. EZY - easyjet - Increased services on the following routes ABZ, BCN, CPH, CFU, DBV, GIB, GLA, HER, JTR, LIN, LIS, MXP, PSA and VRN. New routes for S12 are BRI, EFL and FUE. They have also dropped 3 routes - GOT, HEL and SAW. From June onwards SXF will be replaced with BER. FR - Ryanair - 3 routes dropped for S12 - ALC, CIA and GRO. HCC - Holiday Czech Airlines - Operating daily services to KEF on behalf of Iceland Express using an A32. HX - Hong Kong Express - New route to HKG, operating daily services with an A33 continuation from W11. JP - Adria Airways - have ceased operations to LJU at LGW. JU - JAT - New service to BEG, with a frequency of twice weekly using a B (South Terminal) KE - Korean Air - New service to ICN, operating 3 times a week with a B (North Terminal) LH - Lufthansa - continuation of FRA services from W11. OD/ OAI - Tor Air - ceased trading during W11, flying that was planned for S12 is now being undertaken by Small Planet (LLC) and Aurela (LSK). Mainly a greek destinations. PS - Ukraine International - Increased frequency in S12 in addition to the daily service, 6 additional flights served per week to KBP. RC - Atlantic Airways - 2 services per week using B146 to FAE. (South Terminal) TCX - Thomas Cook Airlines - Follwoing Canadian routes dropped for S12 YHZ, YVR, YYC and YYZ. TK - Turkish Airlines - Continaution of IST services from W11, they have a second daily from May. TS - Air Transat- New routes of YEG, YOW, YYC and increased frequency to YVR and YYZ (previously flown by Thomas Cook) VK - Air Nigeria - planned new services to LOS from APR using A33. (South Terminal) VN - Vietnam Airlines - Continuation of services to HAN and SGN from W11. VS - Virgin Atlantic - new services to CUN twice weekly using B744, they are dropping KIN from April. 20 GLOSSARY OF TERMS Air Transport Movement (ATM) Allocation Common Travel Area (CTA) Demand Passenger ATM Scheduling Limits Seats Peak Week A scheduled or charter passenger or freight aircraft movement. The allocation of slots such that demand is constrained to fit within declared scheduling limits. Services to or from the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. The unconstrained demand for slots, prior to any schedule adjustments. A scheduled or charter passenger aircraft movement (ie, exluding all-cargo aircraft movements). Limiting parameters declared by the Airport Operator used in the coordination process. The number of seats based on the aircraft configuration advised by the airline.
