8 Analysing OpenMP Programs Login to your UYBHM node using - X with ssh : bash: $ ssh - X du??@wsl- node??.uhem.itu.edu.tr or use your PuTTY program in your Windows with X11 forwarding in SSH sechon. Copy example file tar to your directory bash: $ cd workshop bash: $ cp /RS/users/bonat/workshop/YAZOKULU/ tar. bash: $ tar - xvf tar bash: $ cd /mpi- analyze/traceanalyzer 8/36

9 Analysing OpenMP Programs For Intel architecture there are two choises for analysing OpenMP codes. Intel Inspector XE 2011 (formerly Intel Thread Checker) Intel VTune Amplifier XE 2011 (formerly Intel VTune Performance Analyzer) Following lines must be added to.bashrc and.bash_profile : source /RS/progs/intel/inspector_xe_2011/inspxe- vars.sh source /RS/progs/intel/vtune_amplifier_xe_2011/amplxe- vars.sh or bash: $ co workshop bash: $ cp /RS/users/bonat/workshop/ tar. bash: $ tar - zxvf tar bash: $ cd /openmp- analyze/ bash: $./add- inspector- amplifier- to- path.sh 9/36

10 Intel Inspector XE Source Intel Inspector XE variable script file by the following command: $./ready- inspector.sh Compile yoru code and execute following commands to analyse your code in GUI based analyzer: $ icc omp_matmul.c - o omp_matmul.x - openmp - g $ inspxe- gui 10/36
