5 1 Introduction The application Operational Planning provides you with functionalities for operational route planning as well as a graphical planning board. The following chapters will guide you through the configuration of the application Operational Planning. The guide contains the following information: Licensing of the product Activation of core objects Activation of tree nodes Enhancing logic and masks For additional information see also the SAP Help pages as well as further guides of the SAP S/4HANA for Waste and Recycling by PROLOGA. 6 2 Configuration 2.1 Prerequisite Before configuring the software you have to make sure that the Add-on SAP S/4HANA for Waste and Recycling by PROLOGA is installed successfully. 2.2 Import License Key To use the application Operational Planning, you need a license key Request License Key If you do not have a license key, please use SAP note ( which describes how to obtain a license key Register License Key Before you start registering the license key, please check whether the installation number submitted with the license key agrees with the installation number of your SAP system. License keys are always coupled with the installation number of the SAP system. Therefore they cannot be used in other SAP systems Registering the License Key to use the component Log on to the SAP system with your user name and password. Start transaction /WATP/BASE_KEYREG. If you do not have permission to start this transaction, please contact your system administrator. In the displayed list, select the component TP_DISTRICT and click on the Register key (or press Ctrl+Shift+F8). In the following dialog box, enter the license key, and - in case that your license is restricted - the expiry date. A green icon in the status column confirms a successful registration. If you receive an error message while registering, please check the following details: Does the SAP installation number specified in the application form comply with the installation number of the system? Does the add-on version specified in the application form comply with the version installed in the system? Have you selected the correct component? For a temporary key: Was the correct expiration date entered? 2.3 Create Number Ranges Special number ranges are not required in the operational planning. PROLOGA GmbH page 4 of 15

7 3 Operational Route Planning 3.1 General Plugins For activating or deactivating an implementation start transaction /N/WATP/BASE_OBJCONFIG. Open the node SAP->Implementation->SAP->Waste disposal management -> Waste disposal order item and select the implementation you want to change. The screen of the short term planning is divided into two parts. On the left hand side is a tree with several nodes. On the right hand side is a detail screen that displays additional information depending on the selected tree item. The information displayed in the tree as well as in the detail screen can be configured by activating or deactivating several implementations. Call transaction /N/WATP/TP_SHORTTERM. 8 3.2.1 Configuration Figure 1: Operational route planning For activating or deactivating an implementation start transaction /N/WATP/BASE_OBJCONFIG. 10 Whether functionality is activated or not can be recognized by the icons in the tree: Function is activated Function is deactivated For switching an implementation on or off press the button Activate or Deactivate (Shift + F6). Depending on what you want to dispatch switch select one of the following notes press the Activate button. By doing that the default configuration for this order type is activated. The screen is divided into four areas: resource screen - as tree view planning area - as timeline order screen - as list view detail screen - with map data and detailed information The information displayed in the four areas can be configured by activating or deactivating several implementations. Open the node Route Planning->Implementation->Standard plugin in short-term RP and select the implementation you want to change.
