1 1/5 PART III ANNEX 2 ANATEL S INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ENVIRONMENT 1 Introduction This document aims to define the environment and basic requirements for Anatel s systems. It ll describe the environment, architecture and minimal requirements that are needed for proper interoperation if the Contractor chooses to build a system for the determination of cost-based reference values. It ll also briefly describe the systems that will probably use or be used by the Contractor s Work. 2 Environment and Architecture Anatel s current technology environment is as follows: 1

2 2/5 Figure 1: Anatel s Systems Environment The system to be developed and deployed by the provider must be compatible with the environment pictured above, specified by: Operational System: Microsoft Windows XP for clients and Microsoft Windows 2003 Server for Application Server machines; Browsers: Firefox 3.x and Internet Explorer 7; Application Servers: IIS 6 and JBoss AS (redirection provided by Jakarta ISAPI Redirector); Data Base: MSSQL Server 2005; Server: MS Exchange 2003; 2

It provides a Java API to offer account validation and access control to applications. 5.2 SDSAC SDSAC - System for the Document for Separation and Allocation of Accounts - is the system to which the operators upload DSAC information. As described in Section 4 of the Terms of Reference (1), SDSAC s database will be used by the Contractor in the Work for it contains the necessary data for the verification of incurred costs of operators. Thus, only the database of the system will be needed by the Contractor and for that a Data Model may be provided by Anatel. 4

5 5/5 5.3 SIGANATEL This system is responsible for presenting geographic information. It is a tool to search and all georeferenced data used by Anatel, such as the position of public payphones and cell towers.
