1 New Cycle Manager operation From Wednesday 10/ the Cycle Manager will change in operation. The login: Navigate to the Cycle Manager page via The browser will load a page like: This login will bring you to the Cycle Manager system. Use the same login and password as you normally use.

2 After the login, you will be presented for a device list like: The device list has the same description for your devices as the previous. All details about the communication parameters etc. is hidden, but can be revealed by clicking the small arrow left to the description. You normally don t need to do this unless requested by Tucor tech support in a troubleshooting situation. The status column shows whether the controller is busy or not. Busy is shown with a red icon. If busy, it means it is in use by someone else or by the system for e.g. weather data redirect. If the entire line for a controller is with grey text, it is because it is set passive (Winter mode). Please contact Tucor tech support to set it active. The Cycle Manager column has an icon per controller to invoke the Cycle Manager, see below. The Virtual Controller column has an icon per controller to invoke the Virtual Controller, see below. Note that a weather station will only have a Cycle Manager icon. If a controller acts as weather station, then it will be presented in two lines. To logout use the button in the lower left corner. Reload of the page will also log you out. The same happens if you close the browser.

3 Cycle Manager: When you invoke the Cycle Manager the system will start the Cycle Manager Java Applet in a new window via a utility called webstart. The system requires you have Java Run time installed. If you have used the Cycle Manager in the past you are already setup with Java Run time. Otherwise please download and install Java from When you hit the Cycle Manager icon to invoke the webstart then the browser will take you through a few steps before you have the Cycle Manager program running in the new window. These steps differ from browser to browser. The following section takes you through the steps for various popular browsers.

4 Firefox: Version: 54 When you invoke the Cycle Manager from the Firefox browser, you will see: Choose OK to open the file with Java Web Start Launcher.

5 A new dialog will be shown: The dialog above (you have most likely seen it in the previous Cycle Manager) you just have to hit Run. You can check Do not show. And you will avoid this message next time. The Cycle Manager will now open in a new window like:

6 Operate the Cycle Manager as you need. When finished you can either choose Directory or just close the window. Chrome: Version: 60 When you invoke the Cycle Manager from the Chrome browser, you will see: Notice the information in the bottom of the window. You have to click Keep. That change the bottom of the view to: Click on the button JTStart (##).jnlp. The number ## will increase every time you invoke the Cycle Manager. The next dialog is:

Edge: Version: 38 When you invoke the Cycle Manager from the Edge browser, you will see this in the bottom of the browser change: Click Save and you will get a new question in the bottom of the browser: Click Open and Cycle Manager will now open in a new window like:

12 Virtual Controller: The Virtual Controller is a tool to operate the controller via the Internet as were you in front of the physical controller. The Virtual Controller can run in any browser supporting HTML5 and java script, which practically means any PC with a browser, tablet or smart phone. When you click the Virtual Controller, you will get a display like: In the upper right corner is displayed information about the controller. Be aware about the connection/synchronization status. If the controller is not synchronized you need to invoke the Cycle Manager and perform a synchronization. The display sizes to your screen size. If you operate the Virtual Controller on a small device like a smart phone you can zoom and pan.
