5 What's New since Confirm v17 This release introduces new capabilities and enhancements to the Pitney Bowes market leading Infrastructure Asset Management solution. Customer Services on the Web The Customer Services functionality for view and update of an Enquiry is available on the Confirm Web platform.the user can view an Enquiry from the searched list and update the Enquiry. It also allows a user to add Commitments and Documents to an Enquiry. The Confirm Web Dashboard is integrated with Customer Services on the Web. Users can now open and update Enquiries from the Web Dashboard drill down page. An early adopter version of Customer Services on the Web is available. It supports interfacing with Confirm v16.0 onwards. We will add more functionality throughout 2017 and respond to feedback from users. New Chart Types for Dashboards In order to increase dashboard usage and usefulness new chart types Line, Pie and Stacked Area have been added. These chart types can be used for trend analysis and part to whole relationships in Confirm. Dashboard Agent The Scheduled Reports Agent has been split into two so that one processes urgent reports and the other processes longer running reports with a longer follow up. This change will improve the performance of the Dashboards as the Scheduled Reports driving the Dashboard will not be slowed down by bigger reports requiring more processing time.

7 Supported Technology and Platforms TLS Support Confirm Product Suite now supports TLS Protocol 1.0/1.1/1.2 for all components in addition to the existing SSL support for http and https communication. Active Directory Authentication ConfirmConnect, ConfirmConnector and ConfirmWorkzone now supports Active Directory Authentication like Confirm Web. Support Withdrawal Notice Following the end of of support from Microsoft, the Confirm Client Application(s) will cease to be supported on Microsoft Windows Vista operating systems from the release of Confirm v18.0, due in Dec of 12

8 End of Sales Notice The following Confirm modules have an end of sales notice attached to them following the release of Confirm v16. We are assessing the impact of removing these modules from the software and will issue a notification and migration path for any customers continuing to use these modules prior to removing any functionality from the software. 10 What's New in v17.1 General Functionality Download button on Document Links screen A new 'Download' button is now available on Document Links screen to download the selected document to an accessible location. Password length The password length has been increased to accept 128 characters.this is applicable for ConfirmClient,ConfirmWeb,ConfirmConnect and ConfirmWorkzone. Web Map Symbol Settings The Web Map Symbol Settings gives users the ability to set custom symbols for Features displayed in the What's Going On Here functionality in ConfirmConnect. This allows the user to set a symbol and background colour of the icon. The foreground or symbol colour will be automatically set to provide the best contrast for the chosen background colour. The Web Map Symbol Settings is accessed from the Map folder within Confirm or from All System Settings once user security access has been granted. Note: This settings screen is also available from Confirm Web. 10 of 12

11 Asset Maintenance Import SOR Items It is now possible to mark existing SOR Items as 'dead' using the Import SOR Items utility. Reporting New Chart Types The following Chart Types have been introduced in Confirm: Line: A line chart or line graph is a type of chart which displays information as a series of data points called 'markers' connected by straight line segments. Pie: A type of graph in which a circle is divided into sectors that each represent a proportion of the whole. It has two modes, Pie and Doughnut. Stacked Area: Area charts emphasize the magnitude of change over time and can be used to draw attention to the total value across a trend. It has two modes, Stacked and Expanded. In order to improve performance and to prevent Dashboards being delayed by long running Reports or newly created Reports, the processing of Scheduled Reports will now be shared between two separate Agents. The new Dashboard Agent will process Scheduled Reports satisfying the following criteria: The Scheduled Report is set to 'output to database' i.e. it is used to power a Dashboard. The last successful run of the Scheduled Report took 60 seconds or less. The Scheduled Reporting Agent will continue to process all other Scheduled Reports. The upgrade process will automatically configure the Dashboard Agent in the Scheduled Tasks screen, based on the existing settings for the Scheduled Reporting Agent. 11 of 12

12 Scheduled Report Run Times Each time a Scheduled Report is run, the Last Run Start, Finish and Duration will now be recorded in the database.the values can be seen on the Scheduled Report screen, allowing a user to easily assess the performance of a particular Scheduled Report. The Dashboard will also use the Last Run Finish as the time to display at the top of each Dashboard Widget, giving a better indication of the age of the data. Confirm Web Customer Services The Customer Services functionality on web allows the user to view and update an Enquiry from a browser. The user can view an Enquiry from the searched list and update the fields on the Enquiry. When the user clicks on one of the searched Enquiries it is displayed with the relevant details that includes the associated Customers, Attributes, Defect, Jobs, Status History, Commitments and Documents. The Edit button opens the Enquiry for editing. It also allows for creating new Commitments and attaching Documents to an Enquiry. The Confirm Web Dashboard is integrated with Customer Services on the Web. Users can now open and update Enquiries from the Web Dashboard drill down page. Works Management Plant and Material Device Data Security Keys Data Security Keys can now be applied to Plant and Material types to limit the items seen by mobile users. 12 of 12
