3 1 Introduction Airis is an intelligent requirement capturing platform developed by Virtusa. It is designed to overcome the challenges in conventional requirement gathering methods, enabling a more complete and accurate derivative of the current state of a given business process workflow. Airis is particularly targeted for Robotic Process Automation related initiatives and helps support Digital Transformation, Business Process Re-engineering, Business Process Improvement/Management and other initiatives. 2 Using Airis 2.1 Creating a Client 1. Open Airis by navigating to the URL <hostname>:8080/hcm-server/#/ 2. Click the Start button located at the center of the screen Figure 1: Airis main page 2 P a g e

4 3. Click the button as shown in the following figure. Figure 2: Client screen 4. Enter the client details in the relevant fields: Client Name: Enter the client s name Client Description: Enter a description about the client and the process 5. To add a client logo (this is optional), click Choose File 6. In the Select Image pop-up screen, select the client logo and click Add 7. 5 8. Click the button to generate the organizational hierarchy for the project. Figure 4: Projects 9. Click the button to create a new folder. Note: The folder can be edited using the Edit button. Figure 5: Folder structure 4 P a g e

7 12. The created projects and the folders will be displayed in the left side pane. Figure 8: Airis interface 2.2 Creating a Process 1. To create a new process, right-click the Project Name 2. Click New Folder to create a folder for the process (optional) Figure 9: Adding a new folder 6 P a g e

8 3. Right-click the created folder and click New Process to create a new process Figure 10: Adding a new process 2.3 Process Analysis Process Efficiency 1. The questionnaire for process analysis is shown below. To find the suitability, complete the process assessment questionnaire Figure 11: Process assessment framework 7 P a g e

9 2. The predefined questions are depicted below. Select answers from multiple choices for each process Figure 12: Questions page - top 3. Once all the questions are answered, click Finish to evaluate the feasibility of the process. Figure 13: Questions page - bottom 8 P a g e

10 4. Select Show Output A score is generated based on the answers given by the end users. Figure 14: Assessment results page Note: Suitability of the process will be displayed as shown below. Figure 15: Process assessment matrix Adding Configuration 1. Select the client or a subfolder under the client to which the configuration should be added. 2. Select the Configuration tab. 3. Configure No. of business days, No. of productive hours, Average cost per person in USD 4. Click Save 9 P a g e

11 Figure 16: Configuration Note: These configurations are used for the Automation Efficiency Analysis Automation Efficiency Analysis 1. Select the Process. 2. Click Automation Efficiency Analysis 3. Enter the values for Volume and Sample Size under Process Volumes. 4. Enter Current Productive Time and Amenable Automation Productive Processing Time in minutes. 5. Double-Click the project. 2. Select Operational Users tab. 3. Enter the User name, role and other details respectively. 4. Click the button. Figure 18: Operational user s page 11 P a g e

15 2. Type the new question under Question Figure Set the Weightage percentage. 4. Enter the answer options for the question. 5. Click Add Question 6. Click Save Questionnaire To edit questions: 1. 17 To delete a question: 1. Click the button to delete the question Figure 27: Deleting a question 2.5 Using the Agent 1. Select the Application Type a. Specify the Application Type as either Browser/Desktop 2. Enter the Application Name a. For example, i. Application Type: Browser Application Name: chrome ii. Click on the icon shown in the following figure to Create, Import, Export or Select a user profile. 2. Select Create Profile to create a new profile 3. Click Export Profile to save the details of a selected profile in any preferred location outside the agent (.phcm file) 7. Click Import Profile to view details of exported files (as in above step) back within the Airis Agent Recording To begin recording 1. Click the Start button Figure 162: Start record 2. Under Submissions, a. Name of the Host can be viewed. Submissions can be filtered by Hostname too. 21 P a g e

Afterwards, all submissions can be viewed once the filter is cleared. 2.7 Viewing Node Details 1. Go to the Task view of a selected process. 2. Select a node. The process of the node can be viewed in the Playback section 22 P a g e

37 Current View The process flow can be edited in the current view. The view can be saved as the baseline view. 1. Select a process. 2. Select the Operation View of the process. 3. Select the Type of Baseline Option as either As Is or To Be Figure 70: Saving Current View Baseline View The baseline view can be switched to the As-Is or To-Be views and can be downloaded as a Word document.
