V2.10 EMI Test Template Editor: - In hardware setup section, the type of a selected device is now also shown Modifications of ELEKTRA V2.00: V2.00 EMI Test Template Editor: - New UI layout of the sections Measurement Flow and Flow details. Refer to current manual for details. V2.00 Home / Tools / Export/Import: - The data is now always written to a ZIP-container to save disk space - The data can be read now from a ZIP-container or XML file V2.00 Report Template Editor: - New UI layout to select and configure the components available for the report Refer to current manual for details V2.00 Receiver driver: the minimum required firmware version installed on the device is now - ESW ESR 2.28 SP2 - ESRP 2.28 SP2 - ESU 4.73 SP5 (XP) - ESU 5.74 SP2 (Win7) Modifications of ELEKTRA V1.31: V1.31 EMI Test: The data reduction method Subrange Maxima now uses a logarithmic segmentation of the frequency range for evaluation (replacing the former linear segmentation), which is more suitable to find the relevant critical points. 6 V1.30 EMI test: The layout of the Test Information section has changed Modifications of ELEKTRA V1.21: V1.21 Improved performance in device search view V1.21 Device List: The use of negative correction data values is now possible V1.21 Device List: Extended warnings are shown for cases where the device configuration is not / no longer suitable Modifications of ELEKTRA V1.20: V1.20 Improved performance in search views V1.20 Support for individual usage of the high pass filter of LISN ENV216 in frequency ranges V1.20 Switch LISN control back to manual local control when test execution finished V1.20 Added ClearWrite traces in the test graphics V1.20 Changed the default trace colors in Graphic Settings 1.3 Improvements The following tables list the improvements and indicate which version the issue could be observed: Improvements of ELEKTRA V2.10: V1.10 Receiver driver: When using FSW or ESW instruments as receiver device, in rare cases a message window (SCPI error log) was permanently shown at the device front panel display overlaying the measurement results. This issue is solved. Improvements of ELEKTRA V2.01: V2.00 EMI test: When using the default templates with an EMI Test Receiver model without Time Domain Scan support the template validation works now correct. Improvements of ELEKTRA V2.00: V1.10 EMI test: Opening graphics for result tables referenced from multiple different tests is now supported. V1.10 EMI test using ESPI/ESCI receivers: When running a test, a system message dialog box (overlaying the measurement trace) was sometimes shown on the receiver display. This issue is solved. V1.10 EMI test report: When the receiver operating mode Spectrum Analyzer is used, the final measurement time displayed in the frequency range section of the report is now correct. V1.10 EMI test report: When a report is rendered with EMI graphics in rare cases the traces are not fully shown in the chart. Release Notes

7 Improvements of ELEKTRA V1.34: V1.10 EMI Test: When a remote controlled LISN is used in a test setup, the first switching of the LISN line could be incorrectly performed via remote for cases where the preset mode at the receiver was manually set to Preset Spectrum and the manually set LISN line is different from remote. The results of the final measurement could partly be originated form a different LISN line. This issue is solved. Improvements of ELEKTRA V1.33: V1.31 EMI Test: The data reduction method 'Subrange Maxima' has (besides the correctly identified maximum values) not found some lower local maxima in the processed frequency range, which has now been corrected. Improvements of ELEKTRA V1.32: V1.10 Installer: Adoption of the database from an older installed version could fail in certain cases, which has now been corrected. V1.10 EMI test using ESL receiver: When measuring in Interactive Measurement mode with a CISPR detector, a different measurement bandwidth could be in use on the device for certain frequencies, which has now been corrected. Improvements of ELEKTRA V1.31: V1.10 EMI test using ESL receiver: When Quasi Peak detector is used in combination with Average or RMS detectors for the final measurement the order of the measurement values is now correct. V1.30 Search View: The performance to build up and show the list of saved test has improved, especially if a larger number of tests is available. V1.10 Backup: The automated generation of a backup when closing the application could fail in certain cases, which has now been corrected. Improvements of ELEKTRA V1.30: V1.30 For devices FSV with installed FSV-B24 the preamplifier selection is improved V1.30 For device FPC a measurement time of 500 ms is supported additionally V1.30 For devices ESCI, ESPI the usage of CISPR Average detector is now supported V1.30 Running on Windows versions with Turkish language settings is now supported V1.30 Improved device communication for receiver devices FPC1000 and FPH V1.30 Standard Data: LimitLines improved to show correct gaps (EN55011/25/32) V1.30 Installer: Import of the data base from an older version improved Improvements of ELEKTRA V1.21: V1.21 EMI test with Transducer setup: When repeated mode is used in the overview measurement the correction data is now properly processed V1.21 EMI test: Receiver devices ESL, FSL, FSV without the Option-B5 (Additional Interfaces) are now also supported and can be used for measurement V1.21 Installer: Incidental issues observed with R&S VISA pre-installation package solved V1.21 Graphics: Improved behavior when moving markers and traces to front Release Notes

9 Software Update 2 Software Update Further information The software update file for the is one file including the main software version number e.g. ELEKTRASetup_V1.20.x.exe. It will be referred as ELEKTRASetup.exe later in the text. The file can be found on Rohde & Schwarz web page. 2.1 Updating the Software Go to download page Click on the download link for ELEKTRA. Save the ELEKTRASetup.exe installation file to a location on your PC for which you have access rights to. Double click on the downloaded file to start the installation. Follow the instructions on the screen. R&S ELEKTRA icon should now appear on the desktop. Double click on the ELEKTRA icon to launch R&S ELEKTRA.
