3 At a Glance Quick Start FRAME INSTALLATION GUIDE 1. Flip over the pi eces of the fr ame so the col or ed arr ows are faci ng up. 7. Make sure the s cr ew hol es are cor r ectly lined up. 13. Make sure that each piece of doubl e sided tape has been secured to the fr ame. 2. Line up t he col or ed arr ows so the mat chi ng col ors are faci ng each ot her. 8. Scr ew i n all t wo scr ews at each cor ner. 14. Remove 1/3 of the top cover of the doubl e sided t ape. 3. Line up the mal e H DM I connect ors t o their mat chi ng femal e H DMI connect ors. 9. Make sure each scr ew is secured in pl ace. 15. Secur e t he frame on your gl ass or T V. 4. Prepar e t o joi n t he connect ors. 10. 5 Welcome to zinframeserver zinframeserver is a server program of our touch overlays. This Setup Guide describes the functionality of features of zinframeserver. 1. Introduction Notice: Before you begin to read this Guide, 1. This Setup Guide is for zinframeserver version If this is not the one you are using right now, please visit to download the latest version. 2. Make sure your computer have installed zinframeserver Connected our device properly to your computer. If you are seeing figure1, please re-check the connection of the device. 1.1 The zinframeserver Interface Figure1 Figure 2 5

6 1.2 Menu List By clicking the Z icon you will see a menu list (Figure 3), each of these options will lead you to a different feature of zinframeserver. Please check chapter 3 for more details. 1.3 Touch Point Simulation Figure 3 The white blobs under the blue area of Screen Simulation will show customer the corresponding touch points of the fingers within the frame area. 1.4 Ambient Light Interference Strength Those two bars, ENV X and ENV Y, show the strength of Ambient Light Interference in X and Y direction separately, with different color indication: - Green means Good - Red means Bad - Yellow means Moderate If either ENV X or ENV Y shows in red, we recommend you to move the device into a better working environment. 1.5 Working Devices List Click will reveal all instance of working devices in a list, while multiple devices are running simultaneously. 7 2. Quick Calibration Guide Step 1: Open the driver and click calibration. It will appear the interface below: 7

8 Step 2: Put your finger or touch pen perpendicularly to the circle centre until the outer circle gathering to the center point. (Remark: please avoid anything else on the touch frame, such as your sleeves, etc. In case the calibration process is abnormal.) Step 3: Please leave your finger when the first point has been calibrated. And repeat the action in Step 2 to calibrate each point one by one until all the 4 points have been calibrated. Finally, you will see following interface when you complete the calibration: The calibration process has been completed. 8

9 3. Diagnosis Procedures Step 1: Ensure device is properly connected to the host computer. Step 2 : Click Diagnosis appeared on user interface Step 2: Fill in the user information Step 3: Click Start and follow manipulation procedures as listed. Step 4: Please click send and the diagnose report will send back to our support team automatically, if the PC is on the internet. Otherwise, please click save as, and send the report back to us manually. 9

10 4. Advanced Settings 4.1 Response Rate Figure 4 Adaptive: The default setting, please don t change it if your device function well. Optimized: Moderate setting considerate both accuracy and response rate. Accurate: Compromising the response rate in order to achieve the most accurate detection. 4.2 Palm Recognition Ticking it on to activate the object recognition function, such as palm, bottle or cell phone. Please note that the green bar of Max Palm Size is adjustable. 4.3 Double Click and Right Click The applet is from Microsoft Control Panel. If you encounter problems in related to pen and touch simulation, such as Flick, Double Click and Right Click, please make particular adjust with this applet. 4.4 Environment Please select different modes in consistent to the actual working environment. 4.5 TUIO Protocol Ticking it on for TUIO protocol support. 10
