3 Chapter 1 Notes and Safety Requirements 1.1 Cautions and Notes (1) To avoid danger or damage incurred to the lens, do not touch the lens or sensor directly with your fingers. (2) To avoid failure or electric shock hazard and so on, do not disassemble or modify the internal structure of the device. (3) Do not plug in or unplug the USB port when hands are wet. (4) Do not use alcohol and other organic solvents to clean. (5) If the lens or sensor is dirty or damp, you should better use dry and non-linen fabric or professional lens tissue to wipe them. To avoid scratches on the surface, do not touch the lens with your fingers. Wipe the lens or sensor lightly. (6) The products are not specifically designed for an outdoor use. Do not expose it to outdoor environment without any protection. Excessive temperature and humidity will damage the lens. Please avoid using the product under the following environment: high temperature or high humidity environment, places with direct sunlight, dirt or vibration and places near heat source. (7) Please use and store in the following environment: Operating temperature :-10 ~ 50 Storage temperature:-20 ~ 60 Operating Humidity :30~80%RH Storage Humidity:10~60%RH (8) If any foreign matter, water or liquid enter into the device by accident, disconnect the USB cable immediately. Please send it to the maintenance center and do not use the hair dryer to dry it by yourself. (9) To prevent microscope from being tripped over or dropped, please put away the device's USB cables in use or standby. (10) To avoid electric shock by accident, please power off microscope before you move your computer or laptop. (11) The cleanliness of the device lens will directly affect clarity degree of contents from the computer screen during preview. Problems like various circles or spots on the screen may mostly be incurred by dirt on the lens. When cleaning, please use professional lens tissue or other professional detergent to clear the dirt on the lens. 1

6 Chapter 4 Product Assembly Guide 4.1 WiFi Camera Eyepiece Assembly & Disassembly WiFi Camera Eyepiece Assemble with Microscopes 1.Connect with Standard C-mount Microscope (1)Open the dustproof plastic cover which is at the bottom of WiFi Camera Eyepiece, and take off the protective film on the color filter of cavity.(picture1 picture2). (2)Screw the WiFi Camera Eyepiece into microscopes(standard C-Mount). (picture3) (3)It can be used in both wireless mode and wired mode. Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 2. Connect with Stereo Microscope (1)Open the dustproof plastic cover of the WiFi Camera Eyepiece, and take off the protective film on the color filter of cavity.(picture 1 Picture 2) (2)Connect electronic eyepiece with 0.5X minifier.(picture 3) (3)Put the Minifier (or empty sleeve) into 23.2/30mm adaptor(or 23.2/30.5mm adaptor).(picture 4) 4

Disassemble with Standard C -Mount Eyepiece (1)Turn off the power, and remove USB cable. (2)Screw out the WiFi Camera Eyepiece from microscope. (3)Put on dustproof plastic cover. (4)Put the electronic eyepiece away just in case. 2. Disassemble with Stereo Microscope (1)Take off the product and adaptor from stereo microscope. (2)Disassemble adaptor and eyepiece from the product. (3)Put on dustproof plastic cover. (4)Put the WiFi Camera Eyepiece away just in case. 5

Work mode switch (1)wifi work mode During turning on wifi mode,wifi Camera Eyepiece will work wirelessly. At this time, the devices which have the wifi function can connect with the WiFi Camera Eyepiece and begin operation. The details of the video image operation during this mode is in User Manual of Ucam Plus for ios Simplified Chinese wireless usage. 6

9 (2)USB Cable Work Mode During turning on USB Cable work mode,wifi Camera Eyepiece can connect PC with USB Cable and begin operation. The details of the video image operation during this mode is in User Manual of Micro Capture Simplified Chinese Wired Micro Capture uses. (3)Power off Work Mode When turning off the WiFi Camera Eyepiece, it will stop working. 2. Day/Night Switch (1) Day work mode During this mode, the video image operation can be used at day time. (2)Night work mode During this mode, it has the maximum light transmission. 3.LED LAMP (1)Power lamp If battery has high energy:green light flashes three times and stops 1.2 seconds. If battery has medium energy:green light flashes two times and stops 1.2 seconds. If battery has low energy:green light flashes once and stops 1.2 seconds. (During this status, it should be charged as soon as possible.) If the red lights flashes three times, it will turn off, and it needs to be restarted. (2)wifi lamp Wifi lamp flashes during the wireless work mode. Turning on WiFi mode Blue light will flash in three seconds. Flashing Outputting image The Frequency of Flash the larger data wifi outputs, the faster light flashes. 7

10 (3)Charge lamp While charging from a USB port in a computer or adaptor, it can be used at the same time. If battery has low energy or no energy, the light flashes once 1.5 seconds. If battery has medium energy, the light flashes once 2.5 seconds. If battery has high energy, the light flashes once 4 seconds. If battery fully charged, the light will be always green. 4. USB port Charge the WiFi Camera Eyepiece is connecting adaptor with USB Cable; Connect PC with USB Cable, and turn on the USB Cable work mode, WiFi Camera Eyepiece will start wired working. 5.2 Main body Introduction Main body : WiFi Camera Eyepiece has convenient assembly, universal usage, complete function, and easy operation. WiFi Camera Eyepiece is designed for Biological microscope lens TV, stereoscopic microscope, Metallurgical microscope, etc. It adopts the new CMOS sensor which actually is 5 mega pixels, and it has the particular wifi technology. Watch on mobiles, or pads. A family or several people are able to watch simultaneously; it avoids focusing too many times and also provides the most relax way of saving photos. 8

11 Camera Sensor : It adopts the new CMOS sensor which actually is 5 mega pixels, and it vastly reduces image noise. The software will automatically filtrate adverse factors in the image. LED Lamp : WiFi Camera Eyepiece has three LED lamps. Power lamp:it will be in red if battery has low energy; it will be in green if battery has sufficient energy. WIFI Lamp:The frequency of the flashes reflects the strength of WIFI signal. Charging Lamp:It will be in red if it is charging; it will be in green if it is fully charged. Port : To connect USB port with cables, the device can be charged or start wired working it has Micro USB port which can rapidly transmit data with PC. 9

12 Quick Release Plate : Quick Release Plate is also called non-slipping block. It has ¼ inch threaded port at the bottom, and it can be directly locked on the tripod. 5.3 Accessories Introduction Adaptor and Eyepiece : It is able to put the WiFi Camera Eyepiece into different size caliber microscope via adaptor or eyepiece. Electronic eyepiece has standard C port; 0.5X eyepiece is 23.2mm; adaptor is 23.3/30mm or 23.2/30.5mm. According to different assembly, the device can be connected with the eyepieces which have different mount. USB Cable : Charge the WiFi Camera Eyepiece from the USB port in PC or adaptor. that makes the data transmission stable, effective, and safer. Power adaptor : Charge the eyepiece with USB Cable. This adaptor is simple and small, and the rated operational voltage is between AC100V-240V, 50-60Hz. 10

13 Chapter 6 Instructions 6.1 USB Wired Work Mode Install Micro Capture Software Put the appendant disc into the DVD driver of your computer, click Micro Capture Install file and finish the installation of the application software according to the software reminder. For detailed install methods, please refer to User Manual of Micro Capture English To Connect Device (1) Connect the attached USB cable Micro USB end (small one) to the USB port of the WiFi Camera Eyepiece and the USB-A port (big one) of the USB cable to the USB port of the computer. (2) Turn the WiFi Camera Eyepiece work mode switch to USB work mode. It may appear the reminder for installing device s driver when you first use the WiFi Camera Eyepiece and then system will finish installation automatically Open Software (1) Place the WiFi Camera Eyepiece soundly and align the lens to the observation object. 14 6.2 WiFi Work Mode-IOS System Install Ucam Plus for ios software Download and install Ucam Plus Vision software in APP Store of Apple To Connect Device (1) Turn the work mode switch of the WiFi Camera Eyepiece to WiFi work mode. After 20 seconds, WiFi work indicator of WiFi Camera Eyepiece flickers. After 3 seconds, the led will indicates blue. (2) Setting under IPAD or IPHONE system-connect WiFi Camera Eyepiece under WiFi, WiFi name: VideoWiFi-xxxxxx, password: Open Software (1) Place the WiFi Camera Eyepiece soundly and align the lens to the observation object. (2) Execute the Ucam Plus software under the desktop of system to observe your needed image Start to Use For more detailed instructions, please refer to User Manual of Ucam Plus for ios English. 6.3 WiFi Work Mode-Android System Install Ucam Plus for Android Software You can use one of the following two methods when installing software. (1) Download and install Ucam Plus software on Google play. (2) Copy the Ucam Plus for Android software to Android system for installation. 12

15 6.3.2 To Connect Device (1) Turn the work mode switch of the WiFi Camera Eyepiece to WiFi work mode. After 20 seconds, WiFi work indicator of WiFi Camera Eyepiece. After 3 seconds, the led will indicates blue. (2) Setting under Android mobile phone or tablet system-connect WiFi Camera Eyepiece under WiFi, WiFi name: VideoWiFi-xxxxxx, password: Open Software (1) Place the WiFi Camera Eyepiece soundly and align the lens to the observation object.
