1 PRN # _ EMEIA April 14, 2014 Dolphin 6000 and Dolphin 6000 Accessories End of Life Plan This notice serves as formal communication of Honeywell Scanning & Mobility s intent to discontinue the following product(s): Dolphin 6000 Terminals (Table 1) Dolphin 6000 Accessories (Table 2) Regions Affected: Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) Reason for Retirement: Since its 2011 introduction, the Dolphin 6000 has filled an important position in the Honeywell product portfolio, meeting the needs of field service, retail and field sales segments. However, important technological advances have been made since the Dolphin 6000 introduction. These advances have led to Dolphin 6000 supply limitations. This retirement notice attempts to identify all part numbers affected by the discontinuation of the Dolphin It is possible that some part numbers were missed in the list provided. Honeywell reserves the right to include omitted part numbers if they are related to the products listed above, even if the part number is not specifically listed in this notice. Those omitted part numbers are subject to the terms specified within this document. If you are unsure of a specific part number, please contact your Honeywell representative for clarification. Honeywell may not be able to fulfill all orders between now and the projected last time buy date if incoming orders exceed expected demand. However, many distribution partners have existing inventory and should be contacted directly with respect to their product availability. Please work with your Honeywell representative to ensure ordered products are commercially available. Honeywell will continue to monitor and provide quarterly updates on units available for sale from our offices. Recommended Replacement Products: If the Dolphin 6000 part number you are attempting to order is not commercially available, Honeywell recommends the following replacement products (Table 3):

3 Honeywell Dolphin 60s The Dolphin 60s, Honeywell s latest enterprise device in the scanphone line, was specifically built to facilitate quick, reliable and secure access to business critical data. With real-time voice communication and data collection, this multipurpose device will deliver consistently high levels of customer service while limiting total cost of ownership. In comparison to Dolphin 6000, Dolphin 60s offers 1D/2D scanning, improved WLAN antennae (802.11bgn), option for QWERTY or numeric keypad, 3G WWAN, and an extended battery. Dolphin 60s Product Page Honeywell Dolphin 70e Black The Dolphin 70e Black, Honeywell s latest enterprise hybrid device, successfully marries the size, style and usability of a consumer device with the reliability and longevity of a traditional rugged hand-held. In comparison to Dolphin 6000, Dolphin 70e Black offers 1D/2D scanning, improved WLAN antennae (802.11abgn), IP67 rating, software definable 3G radio, optional NFC, option for Android or WEH 6.5, and an extended battery option.
