1 Product Retirement Notice PRN # January 30, 2012 Honeywell Announces End of Life Plan for MX7R and MX7CS Handheld Computers This notice serves as formal communication of Honeywell Scanning & Mobility s intent to discontinue the following product(s): MX7R and MX7CS This retirement notice attempts to identify all SKUs affected by the discontinuation of the MX7 and MX7CS computers. It is possible that some part numbers were missed in the list provided. Honeywell reserves the right to include omitted SKUs if they are related to the products listed above, even if the SKU is not specifically listed in this notice. Those omitted SKUs are subject to the terms specified within this document. If you are unsure of a specific SKU, please contact your Honeywell representative for clarification. None of the MX7 accessories are impacted by this notice. Since the MX7 introduction, important technological advances have been made, as well as increased demand for performance enhancements. The Tecton and Tecton CS incorporate these advances in the well received MX7 industrial design, preserving the customer s investment in docks, chargers, batteries, and other accessories, while offering improved performance for more demanding applications. The Tecton and Tecton CS are direct replacements for the MX7 and MX7CS respectively.
