3 Safety instructions Do not modify the door communication system on your own! In case of errors or faults please contact your qualified electrician. 5 Operation Accept a call Door call from a video frontdoor station When a call from a video front-door station comes in, the screen is activated automatically and the video image is displayed. button, to speak with the person in front of the door. Floor call Floor door Open When a floor call (from a floor door) comes in, shortly press the speech button, to speak with the person at the floor door. button,to end the voice If the floor door release function is activated, press the door release button, to open the floor door (possible only within 35 s after the call came in). If the floor video function is activated, the video image is displayed. 6

8 Send an internal call Press the menu button in stand-by mode to call up the main menu. or the function key, to select the menu Internal call. If an internal call was configured, e.g. the room number and the serial number of the call destination is displayed on the screen. 9 Video surveillance Video surveillance. If several video front-door stations or cameras are connected, switch between video front-door stations / cameras by pressing the image button again. Press the call OFF button, to switch OFF the image. The image is switched OFF automatically after the set image switch time is up. Press the speech button, to trigger the control function or to switch the lights. 11 Setup Intercom Setup user (control level for the user) Press the menu button in stand-by mode. or the function key, to select the menu Setup Intercom. Setup Intercom 1 Setup user 2 Setup Installer Press the speech button, to enter the menu Setup user. Press the image button or the function key, to change the parameter. Key tone: Activate / deactivate the key tone. Key tone is activated: When pressing the sensor button a tone sounds. Ring tone Vol: volume of the ring tone, 8 steps. Brightness: brightness of the screen, 20 steps. Contrast: image contrast, 20 steps. Color: color saturation, 20 steps. Setup user Key tone: Deactivated Ring Vol: Brightness: Contrast: Color: Setup Installer Control level for the qualified electrician. This level is reserved only for authorised personnel! 11

12 Cleaning! Avoid water from entering the device! Do not use any abrasive detergents! Clean the device with a dry or slightly wet cloth. Remove stronger stains with a mild household cleaner. Information on disposal The adjoining symbol shows, that the device has to be disposed separately from domestic waste. The materials used are recyclable. Please do help protecting our environment and dispose the device via a collection point for electronic scrap. Dispose the parts of the packaging in collecting tanks for cardboard and paper resp. plastics.
