The main attribute associated to a good compromise of mechanical properties, is the attractive production cost. Polyethylene has become the material of choice for the rotomoulding industry. Our product range is characterized by a highly consistent quality. In 2001, Innovene has launched its new generation of PE resins for rotomoulding based onto hexene copolymerization. The result of the combination of the proprietary process and this comonomer allowed to significally enhance the mechanical properties and environmental stress cracking resistance compromise. The processing has also been improved thanks to an adapted fluidity (MI)

4 Solutions to customers The rotomoulding market is changing and growing rapidly. We are working in partnership with pulverizing machine makers and our customers to continuously improve the performance of our resins to follow the requirements of this market. We have extensive Research and Development facilities and are actively engaged in new development projects. The European Innovene Research Center in Brussels (B) is using, as an example, the CAD technic in order to help our customers to be successful into their new projects. Specific grade for light weighting Rigidex HD4330UA/UR shows the highest density of all rotomoulding grades in Europe (943 kg/m3) and allows to produce stiffer articles or to decrease the thickness of the finished PE piece up to 15%.
