Such pipe is governed by the industry standard AWWA C900. AWWA is the American Water Works Association which is a standards writing organization. Until recently two product standards, AWWA C900 and AWWA C905, were used for the diameter ranges 4 to 12 and 14 and above, respectively. The two standards were merged into one standard, AWWA C900, covering all pipe diameters. AWWA C905, although still published, may or may not be cited for pipe products by a pipe maker.

3 LIST PC HARCO LIST HARCO gasketed C900 fittings are for use on Cast Iron OD PVC pipe made to AWWA C900 (C905). These fittings are also referred to as Ductile Iron Pipe Size (DIPS). Fittings are nominally DR18. Fabricated fittings are made with DR18 C900 PVC pipe unless otherwise noted and use push joint gaskets of the Reiber style. Fittings indicated by shading and white letters are pressure rated "Pressure Class 235psi" (Class 150) complying with AWWA C907. All other fittings are for non-pressure applications only. C907 fittings are molded in one piece or assembled from molded and extruded components. Accompanying figures are to aid identification of the configuration in a general way and do not necessarily indicate exact form. Fabricated fittings (indicated by Styles F and ) have the form typical of fittings fabricated from pipe. Style indicates a fitting that is fabricated from pipe to order requiring a lead time. Molded fittings (indicated by Styles M and ) have the more compact form of injection molded fittings. Fittings of Style are assembled from molded and/or extruded components. Returned merchandise will only be accepted within one (1) year of the date of invoice. Merchandise must be in new and marketable condition. Freight charges on authorized returns must be prepaid and a restocking charge will be made except for returns resulting from shipping errors on our part or material proven to be defective. CLAIMS: All claims for damage or shortage in transit shall be handled with the carrier by the consignee. LIMITED GUARANTEE: The Harrington Corporation (Seller) guarantees to credit against invoice price or, at its option, to furnish, but not to install, replacement parts of like kind, F.O.B. Seller s manufacturing plant of origin, any item of its manufacture proved to be defective in material or workmanship within one (1) year from date of shipment provided Buyer (or Purchaser) gives immediate written notice of such alleged defect and, if required, returns defective item to Seller s Lynchburg, Virginia plant freight prepaid. Items or components not of Seller s manufacture are not included in the foregoing guarantee but are subject only to any warranty of their respective manufacturers.
