3 Affected endpoints Certain endpoint event names have been changed in (and above), which will impact upgrades from 12.5 GA and SPs, as well as 12.6 GA builds, if customers are utilizing those specific endpoint event names. 5 Impact to customers If customers are using any of the affected event names as part of a custom task then the event name must be changed as noted earlier. For example, customers may have a custom task which is designed to respond to a workflow process based on the SAP R3 event: AssignSAPR/3AccounttoRoleAssociationToAccount. This event name will need to be modified to AssignSAPR/3RoleToAccount, which is covered in the next section.

6 How to manually modify the endpoint event names For customers using any of the affected event names, please follow these manual steps: 1. Export your environment roles definitions by clicking on export button under Role and Task settings on Management Console. 2. Modify the locally saved XML file to rename the event names as mentioned in earlier sections of this document ( Affected endpoints ). 3. Perform the IM server upgrade to r12.6 SP1 or later. 4. Import the xml file into your upgraded environment via the Management Console. 5. Click on import button above, then click on browse button on next screen: 6. Choose your modified XML file, and click on Finish button to complete the import.
