2 List of Enhancements/Changes in Version 14.6 Configurator Users The Post Connection Call field on the User - Security - Oracle EBS panel has been modified to allow for assigning multiple calls. Connections The following enhancements have been made on various Connections panels: iseries connection type - added a new option, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), allowing the administrator to select to use a SSL connection to communicate with the server (e.g. encrypt all clients/server communication). Oracle connection type - modified the Post Connection Call field to allow for assigning multiple calls. SQL Server connection type - added logic to implement the Encrypt Connection option, allowing the administrator to select to use SSL encryption for all data sent between the client and server if the server has a certificate installed. The following enhancements have been made on various panels: Oracle EBS node - modified the Post Connection Call field to allow for assigning multiple calls. Oracle EBS node - added FND_FLEX_VALUE_RULES, FND_ID_FLEX_STRUCTURES and FND_ID_FLEX_STRUCTURES_TL tables to the Oracle EBS - GL Files list. Lawson (Oracle) - modified the Post Connection Call field to allow for assigning multiple calls. PeopleSoft (Oracle) node - modified the Post Connection Call field to allow for assigning multiple calls. Infinium node - added a new option, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), allowing the administrator to select to use a SSL connection to communicate with the server (e.g. encrypt all clients/server communication). JD Edwards node (iseries connection type) - added a new option, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), allowing the administrator to select to use a SSL connection to communicate with the server (e.g. encrypt all clients/server communication). JD Edwards node (Oracle connection type) - modified the Post Connection Call field to allow for assigning multiple calls. JD Edwards node (SQL Server connection type) - added a new option, Encrypt Connection, allowing the administrator to select to use SSL encryption for all data sent between the client and server if the server has a certificate installed. Version Number Modified the format of version number displayed on the Splash and various panels. Made the following miscellaneous changes on various panels: Lawson (Oracle) - removed obsolete Confirm Password field. PeopleSoft (Oracle) node - removed obsolete Confirm Password field. Infinium node - corrected to retain alternate host login criteria for Infinium - Security Files when save and reopen the Configurator. 3 List of Enhancements/Changes in Version No changes List of Enhancements/Changes in Version Prevented display of bogus error message when the User Name field value is changed to <Sign-On> for JDE host configurations on the panel and changes are saved. List of Enhancements/Changes in Version Configurator Miscellaneous A new hidden option, DBTaskLimit, has been added in the DotNetSecurity file to allow the administrator to override the default number of tasks submitted to the database. The current default in the program is set to 20 tasks. This new option only applies when then user s SS hidden option, UseTasks, is set to TRUE. List of Enhancements/Changes in Version Configurator The option, Disable Remember Me on Logon dialog, has been added on the panel for SAP host configuration NetCo 3.0 connection types, allowing the administrator to disable the Remember Me check box on the Logon panel that appears when users sign onto Spreadsheet Server. 4 List of Enhancements/Changes in Version Miscellaneous Corrected the name of the hidden option, DBTaskLimit, in the DotNetSecurity file, enabling the override of the number of tasks to process properly. List of Enhancements/Changes in Version Configurator The new tables, GL_JE_CATEGORIES_TL and GL_JE_SOURCES_TL, have been added to the list on the - Oracle EBS - GL Files panel. Made the following miscellaneous changes on various panels: Oracle EBS node - modified all Oracle 12.2 table schemas in the GL Files list to be set to APPS for new installs. Infinium node - corrected the ability to save an Infinium host configuration when the User Name field is set to <Sign-On>. JD Edwards node - corrected the ability to save a JDE host configuration when the User Name and Password fields are blank.
