3 Our Story Based in Richmond, Virginia, Open Plan Systems traditionally has been known for remanufacturing systems furniture to provide a high-quality, low-cost, and environmentally-friendly source for modular furniture. In addition to our sustainable solutions, our new OPS2 line of office furniture is made to major manufacturer standards with the added benefits of flexibility and selection, all at a significant cost-savings. With more than 30 years of office furniture industry experience, Open Plan Systems has developed into the largest remanufacturer of systems furniture with dealers carrying our product lines throughout the country. Open Plan Systems is a leading distributor of seating, case goods, and filing systems, and has developed the innovative tile system and modular walls. Not too shabby, eh? "Laminate Casegoods at a price point that is sure to fit any budget" Our Facility Our 10-acre complex includes 150,000 square feet of manufacturing, shipping, and administration buildings. Just 2 miles away is our 150,000 square foot facility used for receiving, production prep, and our new 5 day Lightning Program storage and showroom. We have invested more than $4 million in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and $5 million in inventory, allowing us to offer consistent and efficient turnaround times, some as short as 5 days from receipt of order. Sustainability is the core of the remanufacturing process. Sustainable practices, including reuse of specific components and recycling initiatives, add even more value to our product lines, and reduce our impact on the environment. UL-Approved We take an active interest in the safety of your workplace. Every fabric we use is class A fire rated and our new and remanufactured products are approved by Underwriters Laboratories Incorporated. Many insurance policies have clauses limiting the insurance company s liability in the case of a claim due to the failure of a non-ul-listed device. Protect your investments by making sure the product you buy is UL, Bifma and NEC-approved. SWaM Through the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise, Open Plan Systems is certified as a small, woman-owned business. OPS Casegoods In addition to our systems furniture, we also offer the more contemporary Hampton Series Laminate Casegoods. From executive offices to elegant conference rooms, our Hampton Series casegoods provides a professional touch to any business. Our Hampton line is available in Espresso or Warm Cherry laminate finishes. Warranty All of our new and remanufactured system products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. Our Elevation Series seating is covered by a lifetime warranty on components for the original purchaser. Our Value Series seating is covered by a 10-year warranty on components and a 5-year warranty on foam/textiles for the original purchaser. Our case goods are covered by a 10-year warranty for the original purchaser from defects in material and workmanship. See our Warranty Statement for additional details. 3
