4 Zing Test Elite Initial Product Release The ZTE was designed as a replacement for the GE/Smiths Rotor Analysis and Diagnostic System (RADS) / Aviation Vibration Analyzer (AVA) and the IAC 1087 An adapter cable (a.k.a. octopus) allows all existing RADS/AVA sensors, cables, and brackets to be used with the ZTE Initial ZTE application software supports replacing this product Future Product Upgrades The ZTE will replace the C-H 8500C+ system, using the 8500C existing sensors, cables, and brackets ZTE application software will be developed for 8500 applications Page 3

24 How to Make Measurements PC-GBS will verify the data interface to the ZTE, verify the application software within the ZTE has been loaded, and display the aircraft type and tail selection page. Use the arrow keys to select type and tail number, select Next. If necessary, the PC-GBS will automatically configure the software within the ZTE for the selected application. Page 23
