4 Presentation Variale speed drives Altivar Presentation PF00 The Altivar drive is a frequency inverter for V three-phase asynchronous and synchronous motors rated from 0. to kw. By taking account of constraints on product setup and use right from the design stage, we are ale to simplify its integration into industrial machines. The Altivar drive features more than 0 functions and is roust, compact and easy to install. Up to kw, the Altivar drive is or 0 mm wide, saving a considerale amount of space in an installation. It has also een designed to e mounted side y side or on its side in densely-packed or shallow enclosures. 0 mm Example with six mm wide drives mounted side-y-side The Altivar drive also offers functions which satisfy the demands of specific applications: The safety function guarantees a high level of safety (SIL according to standard IEC 0) comparale with performance level d (PL d) according to ISO/EN -/-. The ATV Logic function offers simple control system functions (Boolean, arithmetical operations, comparators, etc.). With various communication cards availale as options, the Altivar drive integrates perfectly into the main control system architectures. PF00 The Altivar drive includes various motor control profiles for three-phase asynchronous motors. It also features a special control profile for permanent magnet synchronous motors. Being compact and highly energy efficient, these motors are particularly suitale for conveying applications. Electromagnetic compatiility (EMC) The uilt-in EMC filters in ATV HpppM and ATV HpppN drives and compliance with EMC requirements simplify installation and provide a very economical means of ensuring devices meet the criteria to receive the e mark. This enales compliance with standard IEC 00-, category C for a maximum motor cale length of 0 metres. This filter can e disconnected via a jumper. Filters are availale as an option and can e installed y the customer to reduce the level of emissions from Altivar drives. In particular, they allow use of a maximum motor cale length of 0 metres. The navigation utton is used to navigate through the menus, modify values and change the motor speed in local mode. HMI terminals The Altivar drive can e connected to a remote display terminal or a remote graphic display terminal, which are availale as options. The remote terminal can e mounted on an enclosure door with IP or IP degree of protection. It provides access to the same functions as the Human-Machine interface. The remote graphic display terminal, with its text display in the user's language, provides a user-friendly interface for configuration, deugging or maintenance. It can also e mounted on an enclosure door with IP or IP degree of protection. See page. SoMove setup software The SoMove setup software is used to configure, adjust, deug (using the Oscilloscope function) and maintain the Altivar drive in the same way as for all other Schneider Electric drives and starters. It can e used with a direct connection or a Bluetooth wireless connection. See page. SoMove Moile software for moile phones The SoMove Moile software is used to edit the drive parameters from a moile phone via a Bluetooth wireless connection. It can also e used to save configurations. These configurations can e imported or exported from a PC via a Bluetooth wireless connection. See page. Simple Loader and Multi-Loader configuration tools The Simple Loader tool enales the configuration from one powered-up drive to e duplicated on another powered-up drive.
