5 WMF-T R00v04. Introduction The purpose of this document is to provide Trait Packages definition for WiMAX Forum Release.0 Air Interface.. Scope This document specifies air interface trait packages for WiMAX Forum Open Retail based on Release.0 WiMAX Forum Mobile System Profile [] and PICS [2]. The Trait Packages specified in this document are the basis for Open Retail Certification Version Signaling (CVS) from the Air Interface perspective. The following guidelines are used for the development of this document. As a rule, assemble packages out of one or several complete PICS tables (though exceptions are possible) Assemble a set of PICS items into a single package if they are always present together in the implementation. The reason normally is technical (e.g. capabilities of sending MOB_SLP-REQ and receiving MOB_SLP-RSP) but might be historical as well (e.g. the whole "Data Delivery Services" table in PICS) PICS items may be mandatory or optional as noted in the PICS at the referenced PICS element. This document also covers the mapping Trait Packages to the test cases. This document currently includes the coverage of OR a by specifying the relevant trait packages. Coverage of future OR releases will included as those are decided. Table lists the relevant band classes.
