Open Wyse Simple Imager application (WSI) 2. Select product as 1V12 for V10L/V10L Dual DVI, 1S12 for S10 Callisto II/Callisto III 3. Click on Add. 4. Enter Image version, Flash size, Description and browse to the i2d file 5. Click on OK. 6. Click on submit and restart the client. TKIP CCMP PEAP_GTC TLS LEAP PEAP_MCHAPv2 PEAP_GTC TLS LEAP PEAP_MCHAPv2 BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT NEW FEATURES IN Basic RDP 6.0 Support: This feature is included to enhance the 32 bit support on Vista and 2008, better connectivity and font smoothing support. Server Side Settings: Make sure the max color depth of Terminal service of window system is 32 bits. Terminal Side Settings: 1. In connection manager make a RDP session to W2K8 or Vista. 2. In connection Settings choose colors as: True Colors. 3. Connect to the server. 4. On server desktop right click and choose personalize 5. After window pops up choose display settings. 4 x support: This feature is extended support for EAP Type on Wire and Wireless, earlier it was supporting (TLS, LEAP, PEAP) for wireless and (TLS only) for wire. Now it is supporting PEAP_GTC as well for wireless. Server Side Settings: Make settings for WPA_Enterprise in Access Point. Terminal Side Settings: 1. Go to System Setup-> Network-> Authentication 2. Choose Wireless and in Wireless Setup provide valid SSID. 3. Choose Encryption as WPA_Enterprise. 4. Check Enable IEEE802.1x authentication. 5. Select EAP Type as PEAP_GTC and click properties and provide valid user. 6. Plug the wireless dongle and unplug the Ethernet cable. 7. Restart the terminal Expected Result: Wireless connection should get established without any error. 3. FIPS Support: User need to enable FIPS encryption on server, it can be done by two ways,before that Install Terminal Services 6.0 client update for Windows 2003 server Server Side Settings: A. 1. On server enable the FIPS encryption level as below: a. Click Start, click Run, type gpedit.msc in the Open box, and then click OK. b. Expand Computer Configuration, expand Windows Settings, expand Security Settings, expand Local Policies, and then click Security Options. c. In the right pane, double-click System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing, click Enable, and then click OK. 2. Log off RDP session to take the effect. 3. From WTOS make the RDP session to 2K3 server. OR B. 1. On server enable the FIPS encryption level as below: a. Click Start, click Run, type tscc.msc in the Open box, and then click OK. b. Click Connections, and then double-click RDP-TCP in the right pane. c. In the Encryption level box, click to select a level of encryption other than FIPS Compliant. 2. From WTOS make the RDP session to 2K3 server. Terminal Side Settings: Nothing needs to be set on the terminal. Expected Result: RDP session should get connected without any error. 5 4. VDM XML Support: It s a new implementation through XML which is replacing the existing VDM 2.1features that were earlier supported through WTOS INI API s. Note: VDM 3.0 is also supported with this new XML support. Server Side Settings: 1. Open webpage of VDM through admin account. 2. Go to configuration 3. Choose Global settings. 4. Make Direct connect to virtual desktop as yes Terminal Side Settings: 1. Go to System Setup-> Network-> Servers. 2. In VDI broker type select VDM. 3. Restart the terminal. Expected Result: Terminal should be able to connect to VDM without any issue. 5. 6 ADDED/MODIFIED INI PARAMETERS (EXCLUSIVELY FOR WTOS): ConnectionBroker={default, vdm} Rdp_No_Fontsmoothing={no, yes} Disablesound={no, yes, 2} or {0, 1, 2} KeepAlive={0-127} Mapdisksunderz={no, yes} Resolution=[default, Seamless, vga_resolution] UnmapUSB={no, yes} Username=[username, $SYS_VAR] Choose Connection broker type Default: using INI API like Leostream, Provision Networks, etc. VDM: if support VDM XML API in build as 6.3, it uses XML API, else, it uses INI API. For RDP only, if select yes Font smoothing will be disabled. Default = no (enable the feature) For ICA and RDP, specifies if disable remote computer sound when connection starts up. Default = no (Default = 0) Disablesound=2, only works in RDP session, indicate the remote computer sound leave at remote computer. Specified the minutes of keep alive of the session. In this time, one dummy packet will send to server if the network traffic lost. The default value is 10. (CIR39673) For ICA only, specifies if map disks under Z volume label. NOTE: Only if the mapdisks=yes, the mapdisksunderz=yes will take effect. Connection display resolution. The default setting Default starts the connection using the current desktop display setting with no window frame and boarder. If the connection is to a published application, then the Seamless selection is available. For Seamless connections (applicable to ICA only), the Metaframe hosts pick the connection window size best fit for the applications. The vga_resolution depend on platform as below list.
