16 Encore Series Software (ESS) System Software ESS is Encore s web enabled user interface and system software. ESS automatically communicates with each instrument in the system, downloads & stores data locally and presents information via a multi-user web interface compatible with most web browsers. PC compatible, Windows XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8, Win 10 Supports from 1 to 100+ instruments Power Quality, Demand, Energy and Process Analysis Intelligent Answer Modules for automatic advanced analysis Fully supports Signature System and other Dranetz products Other manufacturers instruments supported via Modbus Optional OPC interface

17 Available Enterprise Software Enterprise Software PQView For large system management and/or advanced analysis PQView directly communicates with Encore Series Software to import data into the PQView database for archiving and further analysis and reporting DranView For smaller systems that want to take advantage of DranView s advanced features and reporting DranView directly communications with Encore Series Software to import data into the DranView database

18 Encore 3 rd Party Interfaces 3 rd Party Interfaces - MODBUS MODBUS is an industrial meter standard for communicating with SCADA, building management and other systems. Meters can have MODBUS servers that can be read by MODBUS client software Encore MODBUS Interfaces Encore Instruments & Meters: Most Encore meters have a MODBUS map that s compatible with most 3 rd party software with a MODBUS interface. The series, EPQ series, ES series and other Encore instruments have built in MODBUS TCP and/or RTU interfaces that allows 3 rd party software to easily read real time meter information from Encore instruments, in parallel with ESS ESS Generic MODBUS Answer Module: Optionally enables ESS to read real time data from 3 rd party meters or Data Acquisition Devices (DAQ) into the ESS database using their MODBUS interface. Data can be automatically downloaded from the 3 rd party meter and view simultaneously with data from Dranetz meters

IEC can be used by substation meters to communicate with other meters and devices in the local substation, other substations and to SCADA or other utility management software Encore IEC Interfaces The Series DataNode s have an (optional) IEC interface that allows other meters and devices to access real time meter information measured by Dranetz instruments
