4 MiCME accounts use your Level-1 sign in information. The New User? link is for external users and not needed to access your account. 1 Click SIGN IN MiCME on the Navigation bar. 2 Click the UM LEVEL-1 SIGN IN button. 3 Enter your uniqname and UMICH (Level-1) password. 10 Lesson 2 of 8 Find and Register for a Course A list of upcoming CME courses, regularly scheduled series, and E-learning activities is available on the MiCME web site. Where do I nd this in MiCME? CME Activities that are available for registration are found in the Find CME Activities dropdown on the MiCME navigation bar. How do I nd a CME activity? 1 Click on Find CME Activities to view all Upcoming Activities. Alternatively, hover over Find CME Activities to lter by Regularly Scheduled Series, Conferences, or E-Learning activities.

11 2 A list of upcoming activities appears. Click on an activity title for more information. The activity website with overview, faculty, and accreditation information will appear.

12 How do I register for a course? 1 Click a Register Now under the Action column. 2 Choose a Registration Type and click the Register button.

13 If you are a new Non-UM user, you click Register here to create an account. 3 Complete the forms for Pro le Information, Registration Item, and Payment Information forms. Click each tab or the Next button at the bottom of each form to move to the next tab.

15 A green check mark will appear on each successfully completed tab. 4 Review the Summary on the Payment Information tab, enter your payment information (if applicable) and click Submit. A con rmation message will appear and you will receive a con rmation and receipt via .

16 Lesson 3 of 8 Claim Credits: Scan QR Code You are encouraged to record your attendance and claim credit by scanning a course QR code using your smartphone. A QR code is a type of matrix barcode used to open websites, scan gate passes, or nutrition labels. You can "scan-in to record your attendance. Where can I nd a course QR code? Participants may receive a QR code during class via , handout, or displayed on a presentation slide. How do I scan a QR code? 1 Locate the course QR code. 2 Scan the QR code with your mobile phone: For ios devices: Open the phone's camera app and hover over the code. When the noti cation box appears, tap on it to open the credit claiming screen. For Android devices: A QR reader is required. Visit the Google Play store to download a QR app of your choice. Follow the scanning direction provided by the app.

Claiming credit can be done from the Add Credits & Print Certi cates page. Dashboard -> Add Credits & Print Certi cates How do I claim credit for a single session? You can also claim credit for multiple sessions at once. Scroll down for more information. 1 Type in the search box or use the drop-down menu to select an activity and then click List Sessions by Activity.

20 2 Click the Add Credit link under the Action column for the session you'd like to claim credit for. 3 Check the I Attest checkbox and click Submit.

22 2 Check each Add New checkbox under the Add Credits column. 3 Click the Add Credit button. 4 Select credits for each course using the drop-down menus, check the I Attest checkbox and then click Submit.

24 Lesson 5 of 8 Upload External CE Certi cates You can upload CE Certi cates and track CME credit earned from organizations outside of Michigan Medicine. Where do I nd this in MiCME? Uploading Certi cates is done from the Other CE Certi cates page: Dashboard -> Upload Other CE Certi cates How do I upload a certi cate? 1 Click the Upload Certi cate button.

25 2 Enter the Title and Activity Date for the credits earned. 3 Click the Credits drop-down menu to select the credits earned.

26 4 Click Choose File and locate your certi cate. 5 Click Save to submit your certi cate and track credits. Only PDF les are accepted for certi cate submissions. 6 Your Certi cate appears with options to Edit or Remove Credit.

27 Lesson 6 of 8 Enter Evaluation You can complete activity evaluations via the Add Credits & Print Certi cates section of MiCME. Where do I nd this in MiCME? Entering an activity evaluation is done from the Add Credits & Print Certi cates page. Dashboard -> Add Credits & Print Certi cates How do I enter an evaluation? Scroll down to nd a session and click Enter Evaluation link.

28 Complete the evaluation form and click Submit.

29 Complete the post-test, if available, and click Submit. Your evaluation and post-test are now complete. Click Edit Evaluation if you need to re-enter the evaluation.

31 Lesson 7 of 8 Print Certi cate You may view and print certi cates for completed activities via the Credits & Transcripts section of MiCME. Where do I nd this in MiCME? Printing an activity or course certi cate is done from the Add Credits & Print Certi cates page. Dashboard -> Add Credits & Print Certi cates How do I print a certi cate? Scroll down to nd a session and click Print Certi cate link.
