3 Demo Script Overview 1 Demo Script Overview This demo gives an overview on Planning as a component of SAP Hybris Marketing. The SAP Hybris Marketing Planning provides full transparency into your plans and execution, making it easier for marketing teams to manage and adapt. 1.1 Objective Thanks to this demo script you will be able to understand and practice the functionality delivered by Planning component of the SAP Hybris Marketing. 1.2 Business Pain Points Nowadays, all the marketing professionals are facing the same challenges: A need to make informed investment decisions based on real-time budget and expense information In today s dynamic marketing environment, marketers need to react quickly to capitalize on opportunities before they disappear. Marketers need a tool that can simplify planning and adjustments processes Vast number of opportunities and customers coming from multiple channels and different locations need to be managed by marketing teams often in several locations. 5 Demo Script Overview 1.4 Story Flow Summary This demo shows the capabilities of the SAP Hybris Marketing Planning. The demo presents the functionality from points if view of two users: marketing manager and marketing expert. Steps for marketing manager: 1. Marketing manager adjusts total budget. 2. Marketing manager adjusts budget for a specific country and region. 3. Marketing manager manages program. Steps for marketing expert: 1. Marketing expert extends a program by adding a new campaign. 2. Marketing manager personalizes calendar. Version 1.0 5

7 3 3.1 Adjusting Total Budget by Marketing Manager What to Say As a marketing manager, you ve got a call from CMO, that the allocated budget for North America needs to be reduced by three million dollars. Where to Click and What You Should See Log in SAP Hybris Marketing Trial version using your own credentials. 1. Fill out the User field. Version 1.0 7

9 You can see the SAP Hybris Marketing dashboard. 4. Click PLANNING. Version 1.0 9

10 You can see the main Budget Planning page. In this trial environment there is only one budget available. 5. Click Measures. Version

11 Marketing managers can see whether they are over or under the budget at one glance. You need to lower the allocated budget by 3M USD. 6. Click Allocate Budget. Version

12 7. Fill out the Allocated Budget (USD) field and reduce the allocated Budget by 3M USD. 8. Click OK. Version

14 3.2 Adjusting Budget for a Specific Country by Marketing Manager What to Say Following the change in the overall allocated budget, the local budgets also need to be adjusted. Where to Click and What You Should See 9. Click Budget. 10. Click North America bar in a graph. Version

15 You have the possibility to drill down to different subsets of a budget, such as country, region and program. This set-up can be configured, for example instead of a country you can have a line of business. 11. Click North America bar in a graph. Version

18 You can adjust budget either by entering a given percentage, or by entering a value. 15. Fill out the Budget Adjustment (%) field and reduce the budget by 10%. 16. Click OK. Version

36 3. Fill out the Search Programs field. Find and select Online Brand awareness - CA (ON). You can see that this program consists of two campaigns. Version

37 4. Click Spend Quick Entry in order to quickly add a new campaign to a program. 5. Click Add. Version
