2 Objectives At the end of this module, you will be able to understand: How to launch processes from HR Administrator. How to monitor the processes that have been launched. How to create a print version of the form. How to use the web dynpro form in the DPF(Digital Personnel File) How to consume the applications in the PFCG role.

3 Why Additional User Interface? HCM Processes and Forms is a framework which can be used by customers to create customer specific business processes. The user Interface used by HCM Processes and Forms is Interactive Adobe by SAP. Due to market demands we are now providing additional user interface for HCM Processes and Forms framework. The additional user interface is based on web dynpro ABAP technology. 3

4 Positioning of the new Additional User Interface New alternative is based on Web Dynpro ABAP technology New Forms Design Tool New Presentation Layer Existing investments in SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe are safe Project goal is to introduce an additional UI not a replacement. This is a side-by side approach.customers can choose the technology according to their needs. Most configuration, other than form layout, is meant to be reusable with Web Dynpro UI version if you want to switch 4

5 Processes and Forms Functionality Delivered in HR Renewal.0 Processes and Forms shipped as part of HR renewal.0 With this shipment you can Create processes based on web-dynpro ABAP in the design Time Tool. Consume the web dynpro ABAP based forms from ESS, MSS. Service Layer for HCM Processes and Forms. The details about these functionalities can be found in the service market place.(service.sap.com).the path is Support Portal->Knowledge Exchange- >Ramp-up Knowledge Transfer->SAP Business Suite->SAP ERP->SAP HCM renewal.0 ->Processes and Forms. 8 Start a Process for an Object Select an Object Click on the context menu to get list of valid processes. The processes can be configured in the launch pad. Launch the process from the menu 8

12 Search Processes Search Processes Search Processes based on criterion selected. Both web-dynpro ABAP and Adobe processes can be searched. 14 Digital Personnel File Launch DPF(Digital Personnel File) after searching employee Digital Personnel File.It stores all the forms and attachments for an employee.the web dynpro ABAP forms can be converted into Adobe print forms and then stored in the DPF (Digital Personnel File) 4

15 Configurations for the Feature Described Above GEN_PDF : Allows to create print form of the web dynpro ABAP based form OFF_EMP : Allows to switch off the employee search in the search application OFF_JOB : Allows to switch off the Job search in the search application OFF_ORG : Allows to switch off the org search in the search application OFF_POS : Allows to switch off the position search in the search application 5

16 Adding Processes Into the Launch pad Go to transaction lpd_cust Navigate to role HRASR Go to Change mode Under Processes create a process with following parameters. Application parameters Namespace: SAP Application: ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP Application-Related parameters Target app. Parameters.: PROCESS=<Process Name>&OTYPE=<Object Type> Configuration : ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP_CFG. You can check already delivered standard entries for the role HRASR for more details. 6

18 PFCG Role and Conversion to Portal Role PFCG ROLE : SAP_ASR_HRADMIN_SR_HCM_CI_4 Business Function : HCM_ASR_CI_5(HCM, Administrative Services 05) The PFCG role can be converted to the portal role. Please check the netweaver portal documentation for the same. 8
