4 Updates TxEIS (Installed 3/28/18 for Region 16 hosted districts) o o Attendance SAT Teacher Membership Roster by Period. o Corrected the report to display correct data for selected period and day of the week. SAT Six Weeks FTE Report. o Corrected the report so that Career & Technology Education FTE column totals match the totals on SAT District Attendance and Contact Hours for line M - Career & Technology Ed FT Grade Reporting o o SGR Interim Progress Report. Special Characters in the user profile name are allowed except for question mark. SGR1400 Elementary Report Cards and SGR1401 Elementary Principal s Proof list. To exclude courses the student was not enroll in as of date of the semester and cycle requested unless is a noncampus-based course.

10 Reminders Registration > Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing UID ENROLLMENT Districts begin sending UID Enrollment Tracking Event Files THIS WEEK FOR 1 ST TIME (Starting April 2).

11 Reminders Registration > Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing UID ENROLLMENT The FIRST FILE sent should contain ALL Enrollment and Withdrawal Events occurring after the last PET upload the week of March 5-9 thru the day you send. EXAMPLE: Date to enter in Unique ID Export Date Range below if you sent last pet file Wednesday March 7 and sending first file Wednesday April 4. From Date: To Date:

12 Reminders Registration > Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing UID ENROLLMENT All Subsequent UID Enrollment Tracking Event Files for the remainder of the year should only include New or Updated Enrollment and Withdrawal Events from week to week. Example: Sending weekly file on Wednesday of each week. From Date: To Date:

13 Reminders Registration > Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing UID ENROLLMENT Creating a UID Enrollment File in TxEIS > Registration: 1. Navigate to Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing. 2. On the UID Export Screen, UID Enrollment is selected by default. 3. Enter the From Date and To Date using the pattern shown. 4. Click execute.

14 Reminders Registration > Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing UID ENROLLMENT If NO new enrollment or withdrawals have occurred during the date range entered, you will receive the following message after CLICKING EXECUTE. In this case, No UID Enrollment tracking file would be uploaded to Unique Enrollment Tracking.

15 Reminders Registration > Utilities > Texas Unique Student ID Processing UID ENROLLMENT If TxEIS determines enrollments or withdrawals have occurred during the date range entered, an ET Event file will be created. You will be prompted to save the file. Select the location and click save. A message will appear stating the file was created successfully and will display the number of student records processed.

21 Reminders Early Enrollment Registration > Main > Student Enrollment Many times campuses will have students (i.e. Kindergarten/Pre-K Roundup) that come to school to preenroll for the next school year before the end of this school year. To do this keep in mind the following steps/reminders: 1. Enroll the student in registration like you would any student with the following exceptions. 2. Use the last day of school as the Entry Date. 3. Set the grade level as the grade level they will be next year. 4. On Demo 1 Tab in the Student Indicators box set the Record Status field to: a. 5 (Not currently enrolled in district, but will attend next year)
