1 Version 1.4 Access Workspace marketing guidelines

2 Brand values Access Workspace Marketing Guide All product marketing activity for Access Workspace should comply with these marketing guidelines, Product collateral should work hard to demonstrate, and build a strong and consistent identity for Access Workspace across all divisions in addition to keeping in line with our brand strategy. All product marketing activity should conform to these creative guidelines. However, campaign activity which is led by an issue rather than simple product promotion, can use other creative mechanics. However the use of the creative device could be considered if the campaign directly refers to connected or engaged working. Access Workspace Creative Devices and Templates To build consistency the Access Workspace creative approach contains:- two graphical devices; primary and secondary a range of collateral templates This guide explains the rationale, when to use the devices, and demonstrates the templates. All templates and assets can be found in our Assets and Guides resources hub. URL: All campaign activity featuring Access Workspace should be sent to Evan Puzey for approval prior to issue. This document is designed to give a brief overview of the Access Workspace creative identity, what it means and how it is communicated. When applying the Access Workspace creative identity, please bear in mind two imperatives 1. The intended audience 2. Consistency What follows is guidance on how and when to use the creative assets.

3 Brand values Access Workspace creative devices and links to the Access brand values The three Access brand pillars; efficiency, productivity and care sit at the heart of the value proposition for Access Workspace. Tangible Efficiency is shown by the use of clean and easy to understand icons that represent the different way Workspace users will interact and use the platform. Vital Productivity is shown by the depth of detail in the icons used to make up the Circle and those around the Loop device. This shows how Workspace gives you and your team all the tools you need to manage your business processes and all in one place. Giving you the freedom to do more with your time. Lifetime Care is shown by the overall use of a Circle and Loop, wrapping itself around you, your team and business. Looking after everything you need to manage your business successfully. The glow that sits under the Circle, Loop and supporting icons, shows our desire or purpose to improve the productivity and efficiency of our customers. So they can spend more precious time focusing on what is important to them, rather than spend time on business admin. The fact that Access Workspace connects people, information and tasks more effectively, and is more engaging, plays to driving greater efficiency and productivity.

4 Primary mechanic The Access Workspace Circle When you are talking about Access Workspace as an entire system and Access Workspace as a key enabler for our other software products, this is when the Circle should be used. The Circle should be used with images of people working on computers or digital devices. You can show other people in the background but the main focus should be on the person/owner holding the device. The Circle should sit over the device as shown.

5 Primary mechanic The Access Workspace Circle When you are talking about Access Workspace as an entire system and Access Workspace as a key enabler for our other software products, this is when the Circle should be used. The Circle should be used on images where possible. If the Circle is to be used within a document or on a white background, no outer glow should be applied. Colour variants are supplied within the artwork folder.

6 Secondary mechanic The Access Workspace Loop and supporting icons When you talk about Access Workspace as a way to engage all colleagues to improve efficiency and productivity, as a way of integrating multiple software products and as a way to deliver powerful organisation wide analytics, this is when the secondary loop device and supporting icons can be used. The Loop and supporting icons should be used with images of people working in a team or in an office environment, as shown below. The primary mechanic has to be used in clear view at the front of the image, sat on a computer or tablet. The Loop emanates from either side of the device, wrapping itself around the team, with the supporting icons placed intermittently throughout the Loop. Make sure when you create the Loop that you use an oval and it wraps and interacts with every member of the team in the image. Layer masks should be used to give the feeling of depth, sitting behind images in the back of the picture as shown below.

7 Secondary mechanic The Access Workspace Loop and supporting icons When you talk about Access Workspace as a way to engage all colleagues to improve efficiency and productivity, as a way of integrating multiple software products and as a way to deliver powerful organisation wide analytics, this is when the secondary loop device and supporting icons can be used. The Loop and supporting icons should only be used with images of people working in a team, as shown on page 6. Make sure when you create the Loop that you use an oval (this is best created in Illustrator and then pasted into Photoshop where the outer glow can be applied, see page 9). Use layer masks as mentioned on page 6 to give the feeling of depth, sitting behind images in the back of the picture as shown below. A stroke of 0.5pt should be used when creating the Loop.

8 Images Primary image - the focus should be on individual user and how easy it is to access information or perform simple tasks quickly and effectively on a self serve basis. The purpose of the primary mechanic is to show how easy Access Workspace is to use, so images should show individuals in their typical working day having the freedom to do more. This may be using tablet devices in and around the workplace or at their desk doing the work they normally do. Images should be light and contemporary in style. Secondary image - this is about showing the team/office at work, how they all interact with Access Workspace. Make sure there is a focal user to set the primary mechanic against. The images should be light. This shows how Workspace is used by all your team, keeping all data within one system. 9 Images Creating the image When you use the primary and secondary mechanics on an image, there are several steps you need to take before the image is ready. The image hue & saturation needs to be changed to: Hue 0 Saturation 10 Lightness If copy is to be used on the image, then a white semi transparent gradient will need to be added. This can only be added from the top down. If this covers any detail (people etc.) then a mask will need to be applied to the gradient wipe so it doesn t cover them. The brightness & contrast needs to be changed to: Brightness 0 Contrast An outer glow will need to be applied to the Secondary Loop (supplied on artwork) Blend mode Screen Opacity 24 Noise 0 Technique Soft Spread 30 Size 49 Range 54 Jitter 0 An outer glow will need to be applied for all icons that are used in the Secondary Loop as well as the Primary Circle (supplied on artwork) Blend mode Screen Opacity 45 Noise 0 Technique Soft Spread 7 Size 90 Range 54 Jitter 0

10 Graphical elements Graphical ribbon When laying out print and digital collateral, graphical ribbons can be used to help guide the viewer through the collateral and help create CTAs and copy holders. The ribbon also helps strengthen the message of connectivity, productivity and efficiency. The idea for the ribbon is based on the main brands graphical shards. From candidate attraction to cash collection all on one platform to power a more connected way of working One complete system - that guides you intuitively through your entire recruitment process to help you manage everything from sourcing the right candidate, paying temps, contractors and candidates to billing clients, whilst providing information on performance. 11 Graphical elements Icons As well as the icons used in the primary circle, you can create bespoke icons based on the style shown below to help highlight or lift pages. These should always be used without glow on a white or solid background and white out with a glow on an image (for example when used with secondary mechanic).

13 Print collateral Campaign print The front cover should always have the main Access logo with strap line, this should always sit in a white shard. The freedom strap line should never be used in conjunction with a product logo. Product logos are only to be used within the body of the brochure and never in the top left corner. 14 Digital collateral Generic landing page The landing page is designed to allow content to sit over the top while holding the core Access Workspace branding. The panel has been designed to repeat on wider screens than 2600 pixels. Landing page panel: 2600x960

15 Digital collateral Product campaign landing page The landing page is designed to mirror the main campaign image, with the end panels that bleed outside the 2600 pixels being blued. Please keep all content within an 1800 pixel, left aligned window as shown below. Overall landing page panel: 2600x960 Mobile view left aligned content: 1800x960

16 Digital collateral Generic header and footer The generic header must feature the primary and secondary mechanic. The footer should be the generic footer provided. The copy to be used in the footer should be approved and represent the main Access Workspace proposition for your division.

17 Digital collateral Product campaign header and footer The header should use the template provided and feature the main campaign image and mechanic. The footer should use the template provided and feature the cover of the document.

18 Digital collateral Resource hub When creating the resource hub for a document 1 you must use the template provided and use an image of the cover of your document to be downloaded. If there is no document and its a link to a video then an image should be shown with the primary mechancic

19 Video and animations Primary mechanic used in video When using the primary mechanic on a video or image background, use the glow effect as set out in the artwork. Within Adobe AfterEffects import the primary mechanic file PrimaryMechanic.aep into your video or animation. Here you can position and resize the mechanic to exactly how you need it. A demo of how the secondary loop should be animated can be found in Mechanics_InSitu.aep These can be found in the resources hub under Access Workspace Creative.

20 Video and animations Primary mechanic used in animation Only use the glow device when using on top of photographic video footage. When using the primary mechanic on a white or solid background, do not use the glow effect and keep the animation clean and crisp. Within Adobe AfterEffects import the primary mechanic file PrimaryMechanic.aep (from the vector artwork folder) into your video or animation. Here you can position and resize the mechanic to exactly how you need it. If you are using the secondary device, again don t use the glow effect on the loop or supporting icons.
