2 TrenDemon is a content marketing platform which helps boost conversions from your existing traffic and content using personalized recommendations and call to actions. The system has several front-end content discovery options. Here are examples of their interfaces (see more on our site at LIFT is an automated personalized content and call to action discovery feed which is displayed after a visitor has finished reading an article (rising layer, an article showcase or see our site for other UI options): Option 1 Option 2 2

3 Paste the embed code you received when signing up before the closing body tag (</body>). You can also find it in your Admin Panel (see how to login below), under Settings > Activity Setup (bottom of the page). The Admin interface allows you to view the engagement levels of your content and community, manage your promoted content and community and customize the system's appearance and settings. Log in with the username and password you received upon signup at the following link: 3

4 The dashboard is made of 2 main sections Content and Performance. The content section provides insights as to how your content is engaging your audience. The Performance section is displayed once you've configured a conversion goal, and it shows the total conversions completed and the website's conversion rate (%). Next to the conversions graph you can see the top sources of your conversions and the top content items. Select the timeframe you wish to view at the top right: 4

5 To setup your conversion goals, go on the Main Menu at the left to Conversions, and choose "New Conversion Goal" at the top right: If your goal URL is outside the site, you need to add a tracking code to that page to allow the system to track successful conversions: 5

6 To setup your call to actions, like banners or forms, go on the Main Menu at the left to Call to Actions, and choose "New Call to Action": You can choose between Banner or Form. If you would like to setup a lead/sign up form, fill in the relevant fields. 7 TrenDemon can scan your site and automatically populate the discovery feed with your most effective pages. You can also define custom pages to promote (external content, for example). Here is how to add them: 1) Go to Content on the left menu, and select New Custom Content: 2) Define the URL, title, description and add any media (image or video) you want to include. When done, press Save: 7

8 You can manage the auto populated content the system has found during the scan. 1) To view scan results, go to Content > Scan Results (at the top): 2) The scan results show which pages the system has found on your site, relevant media they have, if there are any issues with how they are configured (for example, if no og:image tag or title is defined) and when they are expected to appear on the discovery feed (since content items are published to the feed in a pre-defined manner. You can change those setting, more on that below). From this page, you can also instruct the system to ignore certain pending pages if you don't want them to appear on your users' feed or upload other media (images) to replace those that were found (Upload): 5) 8

9 To configure how TrenDemon scans your site and how it presents it, go to Settings > LIFT Setup From this page, you can configure which share buttons you want to offer your users on the feed (1) and configure the auto populate and custom content display setting TrenDemon offers an API to allow for integration with other services and products. Here are the basic functionalities for the LIFT and PLAY units (for extended functionality and additional calls, please contact our support team): - Trendemon RESTful API is called via HTTP using GET method - Server's reply comes in JSON format - UTF-8 encoding is used for all incoming and outgoing API data. - Trendemon API uses API key protection method - you will have to send this parameter in every query LIFT API Get content Returns list of active content of specific user >> GET KEN Parameters: USER_ID* id of specific user LIMIT number of content you want to get (default: 10) USER_TOKEN* API key Necessary parameters are marked with (*) 9
