Click on Account Setup icon for SYNNEX. 2 Overview This guide was created to provide instructions on how to apply for a SYNNEX account and how to enter your SYNNEX account information into ChannelOnline in order to download pricing and availability from SYNNEX. 3 Related Documents 1. General Supplier Setup Guide Covers all supplier setup instructions as well as SYNNEX. This guide can be found by performing the following steps: 1. Log into ChannelOnline. 2. Click on Help link in the upper right corner of the application. 3. Click on s category. Or by: 4. Log into ChannelOnline with Admin privileges (requires Set up CNET Supported Suppliers Access Right). 5. Click on Admin : Suppliers : link in the left menu. 4 Requirements 4.1 Required Information If you have an account with SYNNEX and would like to view pricing and availability information from SYNNEX from within ChannelOnline, you will need the following information: Required information from SYNNEX Account Number FTP User ID FTP Password U.S. Website Login Username U.S. Website Login Guide Page 2

5 Entering Account Information into ChannelOnline Password FTP Filename Your U.S. Website login username and password are the same as your ECExpress login If You Have a SYNNEX Account: If you are a current SYNNEX customer and need FTP access, please contact your SYNNEX sales representative at and request FTP access. Please let them know that you are using CNET Content SolutionsOnline. If you do not know who your SYNNEX Sales Representative is, please contact the SYNNEX EC Services Team at for assistance. If you are a current SYNNEX customer and need a U.S. Website login username and password, visit and select either East or West Coast depending on where you are located If You Do Not Have A SYNNEX Account: If you do not have a SYNNEX account, please call to apply or visit SYNNEX Account Support If you have any questions regarding your SYNNEX Account Information, you may contact the SYNNEX EC Services Team at Entering Account Information into ChannelOnline In order to enter your SYNNEX Account information into ChannelOnline, follow these steps: 1. Log in to ChannelOnline with administrator rights (requires Set up CNET Supported Suppliers Access Right). 2. Click on Admin on the left of the My Channel tab 3. Click on Suppliers 4. Click on the Account Setup icon in the Account Setup column Guide Page 3

6 Entering Account Information into ChannelOnline NOTE: All Supplier information that is entered into ChannelOnline should be entered EXACTLY as received from each supplier. All fields are case - sensitive. Any information entered, using the incorrect case, may prevent your downloads from being processed correctly. 5. The first piece of information to enter is your six digit SYNNEX Account number; please enter it as the example shows: 6. The next section requires you to enter your FTP information. SYNNEX s EC Services Team should have ed you this information. Please enter this information as shown below: 7. The final section enables you to perform live updates through your ChannelOnline solution. Your U.S. Website login username and password are the same as your ECExpress login. The U.S. Website Login Username may also be the address assigned to the account. 8. Check the box to activate Supplier pricing. This will be grayed out until you complete the necessary information required for downloads. 9. Please be sure to click the Save link located on the bottom left hand corner to maintain the changes made in this screen. After clicking Save, you will be returned to your main Supplier page. 10. From there, click Save on the bottom left to enable (activate) your supplier downloads. 11. If you would like to verify the information you have just entered, click on Test in the upper right hand corner of the main Supplier page to verify that you have entered Guide Page 4

7 Enabling SYNNEX Promotional Pricing your Supplier account information correctly. The test results will be ed to your login ID or address. Note: Please note your SYNNEX products catalog may not be searchable for up to hours after your information is entered. 6 Enabling SYNNEX Promotional Pricing By default, SYNNEX will automatically include promotional pricing in their daily FTP price file. In order to display the promo prices from SYNNEX, perform the following steps: 1. Click on Admin on the left of the My Channel tab 2. Click on Suppliers (requires Set up CNET Supported Suppliers Access Right). 3. Click on the Account Setup icon next to SYNNEX in the Account Setup column 4. Under the Account information, you will see a checkbox regarding promo information: 5. Since SYNNEX provides promo pricing by default, the checkbox to import promo cost will be 'grayed' (i.e. unselectable). Therefore, the promo costs will be imported however you must specify if you wish to Show promo info for this supplier. To do so, select the Yes radio button. 6. Please be sure to click on Save on the bottom left hand corner to maintain the changes made in this screen and to enable the promo pricing in ChannelOnline. 7 Enabling SYNNEX Government / Education Pricing Once your government / education price file has been successfully downloaded and refreshed in the system, you will need to enable the gov / edu pricing programs on the main Suppliers page. 1. Click on Admin on the left of the My Channel tab 2. Click on Suppliers (requires Set up CNET Supported Suppliers Access Right). 3. Scroll down to the Government / Education Accounts section as shown in the next figure: 4. Place a check in the Enable box next to each SYNNEX gov/edu pricing program that you wish to utilize in ChannelOnline. If the checkboxes below are 'greyed' (i.e. Guide Page 5
