2 Overview MyWorksites replaces Submittica for submitting Corridor Access Requests (CARs), initially just for AT Contractors for level and Low Volume roads. In the New Year this will be expanded to all Auckland CARs. The structure of Corridor Access Requests changes with the new system and comprises of three parts. The Project describes the project the work is for. The Worksite describes the stages or different worksites that a project may have. The Traffic Management Plan (TMP) describes the traffic management schemes that are needed for the worksites. For simple projects there will just be one project with one worksite and one TMP for example a simple reseal. For complex projects there will be many worksites and each worksite may have one or more TMPs for example, Karangahape Road Cycleway, where is expected to be a number of stages, with different TMPs. You need to create a Project for the overall work. Then create one or more Worksites to define the date, time and area that the work will need. Finally, create one or more Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), to define the date, time and area of the TMP layout. Page
3 Logging In Use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or similar browser. Login using your address and password to myworksites at How to Create a Project Hover mouse over PROJECTS at top of screen and select Create Project. Enter a Relevant Project Name Give it a Project Reference Select the Radio Button Utility or Organisation or Private Individual. AMA, NZTA and Auckland Transport are under Company rather than Utility Select the Utility or the Organisation/Private Individual from the drop down list Enter the Summary of your work Click Create Project Page
4 How to Set up a Worksite Hover over your mouse over Worksites Click Create Worksite Give your Worksite a Name. Typically, a street address plus the type of work you are doing makes a good name. Worksite name will be used in the daily scheduled deployment report and the My Streets interface to identify where the work is taking place, so it must make sense to the public. For example, use the format Galway St (Britomart Place to Gore Street), Auckland Central, Road Closed Road Controlling Authority select the correct RCA from the list, currently the choice is Auckland Transport or Auckland Motorway Alliance. Worksite client and Project, select either the Utility or Organisation or Private Individual radio button and then the Client from the drop down list, depending on you your client is. The Project drop down list will be populated with any projects been created against the Organisation/Utility. If the Organsiation and /or Project are not in the list, you can create them by selecting the ADD NEW button. Before creating a new project check carefully that has not been created under a slightly different name Click Save and Continue Page
5 Worksite Details The Worksite Details screen will then be displayed, fill in all the worksite details. The Worksite name will be populated from you entered in the previous screen. Put in the Worksite reference these should be the Utility / Client organisation reference details. Note though AT and NZTA are transport utility providers they are under Organisations. For example, stage and drawing number xyz. Put in the address again in the format Galway Street, Auckland Central. If the street number where the works are located is not known, then use a map such as google maps to find it or by typing the street name without a number then using a nearby number. Type of worksite pick one of the three options, Excavation, Non-Excavation, or Event. If the work is for Retrospective emergency work the associated tick box must be selected. Select the Traffic Management Level for the works from the drop down list. Currently you need to check the road level from the spreadsheet at and the speed limit for the road from At a later stage it is expected that this will be automated. If a Full Road Closure is being requested, please select the associated tick box. Note that if a road closure is needed AT needs advance warning so the application must be made in sufficient time in advance for this to be arranged. Work Window Select required dates from and to, if you want to change the month or year just click on it and a box will pop up. Select actual work duration and start time and end time. This should be a fairly broad date range. The system will calculate the number of days of work, you can adjust this to reflect that you may only have days work in a week period. Define the Worksite Extent on the map by clicking on it and creating a polygon (shape). Use the +/- to make the make larger or smaller. Click the left mouse button in the map and move the mouse to move the map location. You need to select at least points to map the site. If you need to start the polygon again, select the CLEAR MAP button. Page
6 0 Once you are finished, select FINISH to save the polygon. Once saved you can select the EDIT WORKSHEET EXTENT button to edit the polygon. 0 Add Work Item In the Work section, click Add work Item Add WORK details Select Type from the drop down list of options Indicate using the tick boxes the Location on the road the work will be done. If the work involves digging specify the minimum and maximum depth Add a Description of the works, this will be used as the works Description in My Streets so must be in term the public will understand. When complete select the SAVE & RETURN button. This will take you to Worksite Documentation screen. Click Edit Click documentation type from the drop down list, then click ADD DOCUMENTATION ITEM. Click Save and Return. 0 Click add Contact/ Affected parties If a Client name is not in the list, select the ADD NEW button to add the Client. Then select the Client Contact from the drop down box.. (This will appear once added to the list) 0 Page
7 If the Contact type is not shown on the screen, select the contact types using the Select Contract Type drop down box and using ADD CONTACT button. The system assumes that any affected party belongs to a UTILITY or COMPANY. Enter the relevant details for it. When all contacts have been added to the worksite select SAVE & RETURN. The Work site would be updated. Adding a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Scroll down to the Traffic Management Plan and select Create TMP. This will then display a TMP screen. In the Layouts section, select the ADD LAYOUT button. This will then display a Layout Screen screen. Fill in the Layout Details and Impacts in this page. Note that the red star indicates mandatory fields. The Category needs to be selected from the drop down box. Show the TMP Extent you need to select the EDIT MAP button. This displays an expanded map of the work area created earlier. The underlying map is sectional so you may have to define more than one section of road within your worksite. For each road impacted, select it and on the right hand side a panel will open to Configure Impact. On the map, points A and B will be displayed, these should be moved along the selected road to identify the impacted area. If the wrong road has been selected, then select the Reset option. Page
8 On the right hand side there will be a display of the road lanes, with a centre line. If this is incorrect, then select the EDIT LANE COUNTS button. You can then edit the number of lanes in each direction. For each lane impacted by the work select the green line for the lane and toggle around to display the options, Lane Capacity Reduced, Lane Closed and Lane Opened. The footpath is show as a grey attached area, this can be selected to show that the footpath is affected. 0 Once the impacts for this section have been completed, select the SAVE IMPACT button, and then repeat until all the impacts for all sections are completed. Then select DONE, you are then returned to the layout screen. Add any supporting documentation such as drawings of the layout by selecting the Choose Files button. You can only attach pdf s not jpegs, word documents or any other type. Upload your TMP drawings, EEDs TSL s etc. here. 0 Only attach the latest version (signed one) of the documents to the first layout, do not attach multiple versions of same documents to each layout as when the system produces your proforma it will incorporate every attachment, giving you a massive and repetitive document! You can add multiple layouts to each TMP e.g. daytime shoulder closure, night time lane or ramp closure etc. If you need to give another company permission to edit the TMP then you can select it using the dropdown list. When the details on the screen are complete then select the SAVE LAYOUT button When you have completed the TMP then you submit it for review and approval by clicking the SUBMIT TMP button this sends it to the RCA (AT or AMA TMC team) to either accept (new term for approve) or decline the TMP with comments as to why it has been declined. 9 If your TMP is declined you simply use orange create revision button and make the required changes. Note that when you create a revision all of the information that you have previously entered is still there, you just add in any additional required information and resubmit. Often this will be for very minor things like not putting the correct worksite Name and address in the format SH-0 N/B total closure from Drury to Papakura or incorrect times. Please enter these items correctly! Once the TMP have been completed then open the Worksite. Your Worksite would be Draft until you click SUBMIT for RCA Approval Estimated Fees. AT charges for Corridor Access Requests, details of the fees are at the AT Web site, Some fees will be automatically calculated and displayed in this section. As the application progresses these may be amended for example, to reduce the number of inspections needed, or to add additional fees for removing car parking spaces. The estimate at the bottom of the screen will not be complete until the worksite and TMP have been reviewed and approved by the RCA. Once the worksite details are complete then select SUBMIT WORKSITE button to submit it to the RCA. The estimated fees will be displayed with a tick box to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions of the application. When this is ticked the final SUBMIT WORKSITE button will be activated. If a button is greyed out then there is some information missing. Look at the bottom of the page and it will say number of items missing and a brief description of what they are. Fill these in. Once the worksite is submitted a message will display indicating that the worksite has been submitted (Confirmation). Check the box at the bottom of the screen accepting terms and conditions. 10 If the submitted work site needs updating, then at the bottom right of the screen is a MORE ACTION button. Selecting this button allows a user to Create revision of the worksite. Click Submit Worksite 0 0 You will get a notification of Submit Confirmation. Page 0
