Product Editions IntervalZero provides six different Runtime editions of the RTX64 product, listed below. The edition... Solo Entry Basic Professional Premium Ultimate Includes support for real-time operations on... One dedicated RTSS processor in a multicore/multiprocessor environment. Up to two dedicated RTSS processors in a multicore/multiprocessor environment. Up to three dedicated RTSS processors in a multicore/multiprocessor environment. Up to seven dedicated RTSS processors in a multicore/multiprocessor environment. Up to 15 dedicated RTSS processors in a multicore/multiprocessor environment. Up to 63 dedicated RTSS processors in a multicore/multiprocessor environment. This version of RTX64 is an Ultimate edition. It includes support for real-time operations on up to 63 dedicated RTSS processors. Hardware Requirements This section lists hardware requirements for RTX64 Runtime. Supported Network Adapters RTX64 provides support for a number of network adapters. For the most up-to-date list, see the RTX64 Network Driver Support PDF file at Hardware Considerations RTX64 requires a multiprocessor platform that supports 64-bit Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8. Uniprocessor systems are not supported, since at least one core must be dedicated to Windows and one to RTX64 Runtime. Multiprocessor systems can have as many as 64 cores and as few as 2 cores. IZ-DOC-X Editions and Requirements

6 NOTE: If your system is hyper-threaded, it is recommended that you assign an even number of processors between Windows and RTX64. The Windows logical processor and RTSS logical processor must not share the same physical processor. Some hardware configurations are not supported by RTX64 Runtime installations. When RTX64 Runtime can detect these unsupported configurations they are indicated with a popup error message. Although RTX64 Runtime runs on most x64 platforms, unique attributes of some processors require special consideration before selecting them as a target system. For a comprehensive list of approved and supported hardware, see the Microsoft Windows Logo Program web page: On certain Dell dual-processor systems with the Intel Xeon chip sets (for example, Dell 650, Dell 670), the maximum timer delivery latency for a periodic RTX64 timer is doubled under intensive video activities. Investigation results show that the high latency is inherited from the hardware. Software Requirements This section lists software requirements for the RTX64 Runtime. Operating System Requirements The RTX64 Runtime is supported on the 64-bit multi-processor configurations of these operating systems: Windows 8 Windows Embedded Standard 8 Windows 7 with SP1 Windows Embedded Standard 7 with SP1 (must support MSI installation to allow RTX64 to be installed) Microsoft.NET Framework RTX64 Runtime requires Microsoft.NET Framework 4.0 Client. If it is not already installed on your machine, you will not be able to install this version of RTX64 Runtime.you will be prompted to install it during program installation. For more information, see Installation Instructions. Administrator Privileges Administrator privileges are required for installing and uninstalling the RTX64 product. RTX with Update 1 provides local Windows Groups to control user access to RTX64 features. By default, all users are members of the RTX64Administrators, RTX64Users and RTX64Debuggers groups. These groups should be modified to only include necessary users. For more information, see Users and Groups. IZ-DOC-X Editions and Requirements
