3 1.0. Welcome Welcome to Insurance Xpress. This section is a welcome kit that will let user start and proceed to the software. 4 1.1. What is Insurance Xpress? Insurance Xpress software is helpful in collecting and organizing the data. This organized data can help user to connect with client in better way. User can further transfer this data on Insurance Xpress mobile app and carry it data everywhere. This manual explains the uses of Insurance Xpress. Welcome Page 03 of 31

5 1.2. System Requirements to Run Insurance Xpress This section outlines the Minimum and Recommended system requirements for installing and running Insurance Xpress on Windows operating system. Before installing Insurance Xpress on Windows system, make sure, at least minimum system requirements are fulfilled. Having recommended system requirements in computer will make the software run more smoothly. Table 1:1: Windows System Requirements Equipment Minimum Operating System! 6 1.3. About this Manual This manual explains the features and uses of Insurance Xpress in detail and will serve as guide as user navigate the software. The manual provides detailed instructions and screenshots * that depict the system response. Note: * Sometimes the screenshots in this manual may not exactly match to the screen at user's computer due to the difference in operating system or any other hardware or software components. 7 1.4. User Assumption This guide assumes that the users are familiar with the version of operating system they are using and with the terms like dialog box, icon, option, drop down menu and more such terms. Welcome Page 06 of 31

8 1.5. Get Started with Registration Once user have installed the Insurance Xpress software on user's computer, user need to proceed to Registration. This ensures that all features of the software are made available to user. Registration is very easy and the user-friendliness of the software makes the process quick and simple. The software enables user to complete the registration process while user is connected to the Internet. The screen that user first sees on starting the software is Registration window that needs to be completed as a first step. Here is how: Agency Code: - Agency Code Given by LIC for login. Agency Since: - The said date is date of inception from agency business commences. Division: - User needs to select division name he/she belongs from drop down list. Branch: - User needs to select Branch Code he/she belongs from drop down list. Name: - User needs to enter his/her full name. Mobile No: - User needs to enter valid mobile number without prefixing +91. User can add multiple mobile numbers by clicking + Sign next to Mobile Text. id: - User needs to enter valid id. User can add multiple Ids by clicking + Sign next to Id Text. Figure 1:1: Registration window Then User will click on 'Register' option to register Insurance Xpress Software. 9 1.6. Set Preferences Before you actually start using Insurance Xpress for getting and managing data set the preferences. There are two options available in 'Preferences' Tools for preferences can be accessed by clicking on the window. icon available at the top left corner of Figure 1:2: Home screen of Insurance Xpress Update Data The data you download and correct in Insurance Xpress is stored in your computer. Insurance Xpress software is updated with new features. Whenever you download new version, the existing data can be updated using 'Update Data' option. 1) Click on 'Update Data' option. A window will appear. Figure 1:3: 'Update Data' window 2) Open the location folder of the previous version of the software. Location folder is the folder where the software is installed. You will see folders of different versions of Insurance Xpress. Now open the folder named for previous software version. 3) You will find a 'Database' folder. Now open the folder. A file named 'IX.mdb' will be available in this folder. Select the file and click on 'Open' Welcome Page 08 of 31

The data will be updated in current version of Insurance Xpress Clear All Data 'Clear All Data' option clears all the data that was downloaded so far and sorted or corrected by Insurance Xpress. 11 2.0. Opening the Toolbox Getting Started This section helps user to work in Insurance Xpress and know the functionality and tools. 12 2.1. Get Data in Insurance Xpress software Once user registers the software, Home screen appears as shown in below image. Figure 2:1: Home screen of Insurance Xpress To Update Policy data in software, User needs to click on 'Get Data'. Following window will pop up on screen. Figure 2:2: 'Get Data' options Get Policy Data 'Get Policy Data' option opens a window where user needs to sign in using Login ID and password provided at the time of registering the software. 13 Figure 2:3: Getting Policy Data Updated Policy Count will increase, as data will update Get Premium Data 'Get Premium Data' option opens 'Get Premium' window. Here user needs to login using Agent ID and password. All the premium deposit entries until date will be fetched and updated in software's database. Figure 2:4: Getting Premium Data Click on 'Update' to start updating software's database with premium entries. Whenever software displays a 'Captcha Image' window, enter the displayed captcha code in below textbox and 'Submit' to continue updating database. Figure 2:5: 'Captcha Image' window Get Missing Data After updating policy details and premium details, there might be some data that might not be fetched. To get this all missing data, use 'Get Missing Data' option. Click on 'Update Policy Details' to start getting missing data. 15 2.2. Correct Customer Data 'Customer Correction' option helps to correct customer data in user's database. Figure 2:7: Home screen of Insurance Xpress Various options appear after clicking on 'Customer Correction' on Home screen. 16 Figure 2:9: 'Family Master' window 1) Click on 'Add' Option, put the family head name under the Name column, and then fill up other personal details. If client is our Prospective client then we can take it from 'S' option. Click on 'Save' option to store the added details. 2) To do any correction in any record, user first needs to search the record and then click on 'Modify' option and correct the record. 'Save' option will save the records. 3) 'Delete' option can be used to delete al non-useful records from the software. Search the record, select the desired one and use 'Delete' option. 4) To exit from Family master, click on Close option Member Master 'Member Master' option helps to maintain records of individual members. These records include details like name, address, medical details, family records, etc. which can be recorded at one place. Opening the Toolbox Getting Started Page 14 of 31

17 Figure 2:10: 'Member Master' window 1) Use 'Add' option and fill customer's Name in Name column. In personal Details, filling Family code is essential. It can be loaded from Family Master using 'S' option. Address, medical history, and family history should be stored in details. Save the records using 'Save' option. 2) To update any record, user needs to search that record and select the record. Use 'Modify' option and make changes in records. Save' option is to save changes. 3) Non-useful records can be deleted using 'Delete' option. 4) To exit from Family master, click on 'Close' option Assign Family 'Assign Family' option can be used to add members in various families created in Insurance Xpress. Then sort records by Policy number or Member code or name wise. 2) After sorting data, select Family Name, then choose family members from sorted data. By using option, transfer members to selected family head Assign Member 'Assign Member' option lets user assign member code to family members. 19 Policy number or Member code or name wise. 2) After sorting data, select record from Search Result to assign or update member code. By using option, transfer records to selected member code Update Member Profile 'Update Member Profile' option lets user update the member profile by adding and mobile number. Figure 2:13: Updating Member Profile 1) Choose the member search type. You can either search by member code or member name. 2) Enter the parameters in text box below 'Search Type' drop down menu. 3) Member list will be updated once you click on 'Search'. Choose the member and update details by double clicking on data. Once the correct details are entered, click on 'Update' to update database with corrected data. 20 2.3. Upload Data Once the data is finalized, upload the data using 'Upload Data' option. Data uploading is mandatory to get the data displayed in Insurance Xpress app. Figure 2:14: Home screen of Insurance Xpress User can upload updated data on server for Insurance Xpress Mobile app by clicking on 'Upload Data'. 21 2.4. Get Premium Reports in Insurance Xpress software Apart from correcting and uploading data, user can also analyze the data using 'Premium Report' option. Figure 2:16: Home screen of Insurance Xpress There are two options available in 'Premium Report' option. Figure 2:17: 'Premium Report' options Get Premium Due List To generate Premium due list, select Month, Agency, Required Mode, Area (if policy address is updated) with required sorting option and click on 'OK' option. List of policy numbers having Premium Due in given month will be displayed on screen. 22 Figure 2:18: Getting Premium Due List Get Premium Outstanding Report To generate Premium Outstanding report, select As on Date, Agency, Required Mode, Area (if policy address is updated) with required sorting option and click on 'OK' option. List of policy numbers having Premium Outstanding in given month will be displayed on screen. User can click on 'Report' option to generate report with Address or Commission by checking respective checkboxes. 23 2.5. Get Policy Reports in Insurance Xpress software Just like premium reports, policy reports can also be generated in Insurance Xpress. Figure 2:20: Home screen of Insurance Xpress There are various kinds of policy reports that can be generated in Insurance Xpress. 24 Policy Register To generate policy register to check new policy completed during given period, select date range, Agency with Required selection and sorting option and click on 'OK' option. List of policy numbers completed during given period will be displayed on screen. User can click on 'Report' option to generate report. Figure 2:22: Generating Policy Register Report Maturity Register To generate maturity register to check list of policies going to mature during given period, select date range, Agency with Required selection and sorting option and click on 'OK' option. 25 Figure 2:23: Generating Maturity Register Report Survival Benefits Register To generate Survival Benefit register, to check list of policies for which money back payment is due during given period, select date range, Agency with Required selection and sorting option and click on 'OK' option. List of policy numbers having survival benefit during given period will be displayed on screen. User can click on 'Report' option to generate report. Figure 2:24: Generating Surviving Benefits Register Report Policy Lapsed Register To generate Policy Lapsed register, to check list of policies lapsed as on date due to non-payment of Premium, select date range, Agency with Required selection and sorting option and click on OK Button. List of policy numbers lapsed as on selected date will be displayed on screen. User can click on Opening the Toolbox Getting Started Page 23 of 31

26 Report button to generate report with Address or Commission by checking respective checkboxes. Figure 2:25: Generating Policy Lapsed Register Report Policy Inforce Register To generate Policy Inforce register, to check list of policies Inforce as on date, select date range, Agency with Required selection and sorting option and click on 'OK' option. List of Inforce policy numbers as on selected date will be displayed on screen. User can click on 'Report' option to generate report. 27 Policy Fully Paid Up Register To generate Policy Fully Paid Up register, to check list of policies Fully Paid Up i.e. completion of premium payment term as on date, select date range, Agency with Required selection and sorting option and click on 'OK' option. List of Fully Paid Up policy numbers as on selected date will be displayed on screen. User can click on 'Report' option to generate report. 28 3.0. FAQ This section deals with questions most commonly encountered by Insurance Xpress users. Do I need to refresh data every time I sell new policy? Ans: Yes. Every time, user sells a new policy, the data needs to be updated. Once the new data is downloaded in software, user can make changes, if any and upload it. Once the data is uploaded, refresh the data in Insurance Xpress app. How can I Get Insurance Xpress? Ans: You need to follow the steps given below. Check your internet connection. Go to DgFlick's website Click on download. You can download Insurance Xpress from here. Connect with DgFlick on for further assistance or you can us at support@dgflick.com What Configuration is required to install Insurance Xpress? Ans: Minimum Windows System Requirements Windows Vista/7/8 Ms-Office 2003/2007/ MHz Pentium or higher 800 MB Hard Disk Space 512 MB of RAM Crystal report Dot Net 4.0 and above How to Install Insurance Xpress for Windows 7 or Vista? Ans: Run CRRedist2005_x86 setup Run Adobe reader 8 setup Download Insurance Xpress from or Paste Setup on desktop from CD Right click on Setup. Select Properties Option Select Compatibility Option Tick Mark the Option Run this program in compatibility mode for: Select Option from Combo Box as Windows Service Pack 2 Tick Mark the Option Run this program in Administrator After that save the changes by Select Apply and OK Button Run Insurance Xpress Setup After that Double Click on Insurance Xpress logo on Desktop and Register the Software How can I get Insurance Xpress Update? Ans: You need to follow the steps given below FAQ Page 26 of 31

29 Check your internet connection. Go to DgFlick's website Click on download. You can download Insurance Xpress from here. Connect with DgFlick on for further assistance or you can us at I m getting error message while click on Presentation Report? Ans: Click on Report > Mater > Zone Report. Check whether Zone Report runs properly or not. If no, then it will be Crystal Report Installation Problem. First remove Crystal Report from Control Panel > Add or Remove Program Then reinstall Crystal Report. You can also download Crystal Setup from If Zone Report runs properly then uninstall MS Office installed on your PC & reinstall MS Office 2003 / 2007 complete version. I cannot able to update Online Policy / Premium Option Error message as Log in Failed. Ans: Mainly the online updating of Policy / Premium is based on the speed of your internet Check your internet connection. Log In to LIC Website ( Click on Online Service. Click on Register User Enter login id and password Check whether it will be log in or not. If you are facing problem in logging, then it will be due to overloaded traffic, so try to Update Data after some time (Online Update is totally depend on net speed & connectivity of Mostly prefer to Update Data after 7.00 PM) If your log in is successful then clear your cache memory and temporary files of browser and thereafter try to Update Data Online. Connect with DgFlick on for further assistance or you can us at support@dgflick.com When I click on 'Update Policy Details' to update Online Policy Details, immediately windows become blank? Ans: This error occurs because of MS Office Version 2007 / 2010 installed on PC. Check whether Insurance Xpress is closed. If not close the same. Go to Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs link Click on Microsoft Office Enterprises 2007 (it may show Ultimate, Enterprise, Professional, Small Business, Home and Student, etc.). Click on Change located on the navigation link Select Add or Remove Features, then click Continue. Expand Office Tools section. Click on the drop down list for Microsoft Office Document Imaging and S elect Run all from My Computer. Click Continue. Click Close when installation done. Restart the computer How can I remove / uninstall Insurance Xpress for Windows 7 or Vista? Ans: Click on Start or Rounded Logo Go to Control Panel Select Programs and Features Option Select Software Setup_Insurance_Xpress to Uninstall Click on Uninstall Option FAQ Page 27 of 31

30 How to Update Insurance Xpress for Windows 7 or Vista? Ans: Copy Insurance Xpress Update Patch Setup from CD or Pen Drive to Desktop Right Click on Update Patch Setup Select Properties Option then Select Compatibility Option Tick Mark the Option Run this program in compatibility mode for: Select Option from Combo Box as Windows Service Pack 2 Tick Mark the Option Run this program in Administrator After that save the changes by Select Apply and OK Button After that, Double Click on Update Patch Setup How can I get Online Support from DgFlick? Ans: You can call DgFlick on for further assistance or you can us at support@dgflick.com How can I know that I am using latest Version? Ans: Open Insurance Xpress software first. Click on DgFlick logo available at top left corner of the window. Check the current version of your Insurance Xpress software. I cannot able to update Online Data from Agency Start Date. Ans: You have to first check your agency start date. Go to Master, Click on Agency and then Agent master. Check the Agency since date correct or not. If not then click on Modify Button and make changes in Agency since field Click on Save Button. Check online Agency Start Date after that. How can I know about Insurance Xpress next update released? Ans: If your mail id & mobile no. is registered with DgFlick then you will get intimation of new update released version through SMS/Mails. OR If in your machine there is an online notification of DgFlick then you will get a pop up message. You have to download this new update released version. How to change Date Setting in Windows 7 / Vista? Ans: Click on Start or Rounded Logo Go to Control Panel Click on Regional and Language Options Click on Additional Button Change Date and Time Button Date Check Short Date Format Change the Date Format as DD/MM/YYYY After that click on Apply and OK Button for to save the changes FAQ Page 28 of 31
