2 MSI Command-line Options DISABLEUPDATEUI=1 Disables and hides the update UI from the user. With this option, all updates have to be done manually. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\DisableUpdateUI (True/False) DISABLELOGINPROMPT=1 Disables the update prompts shown during startup if using the LiveProject Free Viewer. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\DisableLoginPrompt (True/False) HIDEBUGZILLAMENUS=1 Disables and hides the Bugzilla UI from the user, e.g. Bugzilla tab and menu items. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\HideBugzillaMenus (True/False) HIDECOLLABORATIONMENUS=1 Disables and hides the collaboration UI from the user, e.g. Explorer, Manage Project Suggestions and Manage Users tab as well as other UI related to collaboration features. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\HideCollaborationMenus (True/False) Page 2/5

3 HIDESHAREPOINTMENUS=1 Disables and hides the SharePoint UI from the user, e.g. SharePoint tab as well as other UI related to SharePoint features. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\HideSharePointMenus (True/False) HIDEPROJECTPORTFOLIOMENUS=1 Disables and hides the Project Portfolio UI from the user, e.g. Project Portfolio tab as well as other UI related to Project Porfolio dashboard features. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\HidePortfolioMenus (True/False) LICENSEKEY= xx-xxx-xxxxxxxx Allows you to store the license key into the registry. The client will check this during startup and activate the client if it is not already activated. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\LiveProjectLicenseKey RESTOREXPROJECTS=X Configures how many Project files LiveProject will restore during startup (if these Project files were left open when the user last exited LiveProject). Set to -1 to restore all Projects left open. Default = -1 (Restore all) Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\RestoreXProjects (-1, 0 and up) SHOWPROJECTSTATUSBAR=1 or 0 Configures whether the Project Status Bar (shown above Gantt Chart) is shown by default. Default = 1 (true) Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\ShowProjectStatusBarByDefault (1 or 0) Page 3/5

4 ONLYASSOCIFNOPROJECT=1 If set to true, then LiveProject will only associate MS Project files with LiveProject if MS Project is not already installed. Default = 0 (false) PERMACHINE=1 If set to true, then LiveProject will make the file association settings to be per machine (e.g. under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE instead of under HKEY_CURRENT_USER). Default = 0 (false) REMOTESERVER=1 If set, LiveProject will also act as a server allowing other applications to open, print and inspect Project files as well as bring up LiveProject UI. Currently in Beta. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\RemoteServer (True/False) SHOWCUSTOMERTAB=1 Configures whether to show an extra Tab for project with only the Task Sheet in it. Note: updates registry key HKLM\Software\\LiveProject\ShowCustomerTab (True/False) CUSTOMERTABNAME= Name Configure the name of the Customer Tab.
